Better and bigger than they look. I got these thinking they were small dishes for my kitten who has to have an eating station in her crate as she thinks everyone's food dish is hers to try out. Its an older dog carry crate but not huge. I thought this picture showed a good size for her. When they came they were very large and I was scared they would not fit on the door. Puppy always has food and water while crated. He does flip the metal bowl out of the plastic bowl. Could use food directly in plastic bowl but would require detachment. Minor problem for convenience and comfort for the pup. I put the on the swinging side door for easy fill and cleaning.

I was sick and tired of my dog purposely tipping his food bowl over in his kennel and food going all over his bed OR outside his kennel. This is a great way to keep it in place. Nice little bowls 🥣 they fit inside of my small dogs small crate where he eats and sleeps and they fit perfectly with the screw adjustment so that they stay in place they were really really affordable so yeah I'm pleased I would recommend going to get larger ones for my big dogs though

I would leave no stars but that is not an option. These bowls are awful. I go to tighten it to the cage and the point where I get the nut to the wire and tighten it the threads back off and I have to try tightening it again. I can not get it tight enough that my kitten touches it and the bowl tilts and all of the food and water pour out of the bowls or they loosen and fall off of the wire.
