The media could not be loaded. I was really happy to buy this since my German Shepherd mix, Red, was always craning her head down to eat or drink. As soon as I got it, I washed the bowls and set it up, and it looks like it'll make things a lot easier for her! This was a little less than $30, and I don't think it's too bad. The bowls were decent, if not a little flimsy (I felt if I weren't careful, I could easily bend it out of shape), and assembly took about 10 seconds - you only have to pop the pieces into the sides to match your dog's height. One thing I'm not too crazy about is it's sturdiness, or lack thereof. As its assembly is simple to a fault, it means it's a little wobbly - I put two fingers on it and gently moved it and it swayed side to side. The good thing is it didn't seem to move too much while Red was eating, so perhaps if your dog is a little too excited by food, this may not be right for you. Overall, I'm happy to have bought this and I'm sure Red is, too. ... show more

I have an aging Golden Retriever that's having a hard time reaching down for her food. So I needed to find something to elevate her dish. After reading reviews and seeing what the design looked like, I decided on this Pet Zone Feeder. I couldn't be happier to have found something that works so well so far. It is a simple snap together assembly that makes it easy to shift from low, medium to high. Little things like rubber feet to establish where the bottoms of the sides go are a nice simple touch. For such a simple 3 piece design, it's pretty sturdy. I would just recommend not filling the water bowl up all the way so you won't get any spillage. It is susceptible to some wiggling if accidentally knocked into. My doggy has been a much happier eater since we bought this, so I highly recommend it . I really applaud Pet Zone for creating something like this that works great, is affordable and I believe "Made in the USA". ... show more

This is the second set of these dog bowls I have bought from this brand. When I adopted my dog, she came with two bowls that sat on the ground and she coughed after every time she drank. I was worried something was wrong with her and I wanted to rule out something simple like her bowls being too low to the ground. For everything that's good about the assembly of this elevated feeder, there are far more negative things to say about its overall structure, height, sturdiness, and ease of cleaning. First, our GSD mix is only 6 months old and she already shakes and bumps this thing (which stands against a sturdy counter wall) when she licks her bowl clean. I'm afraid to think what will happen when she's fully grown. If we didn't have a silicon mat underneath it, it would 100% be moving around all over the floor, against the counter wall while she's eating so you'll need a mat to 'stick' it in place. Even then, it WILL shake and is flimsy, especially at its tallest setting - which isn't at par with the height I expected it to reach for a full-grown large breed dog. It is also difficult to clean the stains of hard water or food etc. off the flat surface where the bowls are suspended. Paper towels won't cut it. You'll need to straight up wash it with soap and water and even then, the scrubbing may not remove all stains. Finally, the stainless steel bowls that come with this are extremely poor quality. They are thin, light weight, and low grade -- so much so that we do not feel comfortable putting them in the dishwasher because even though we have only been hand-washing them for 2 months now, their "stainlessness" has come into question with some darkish bruises appearing on the outside which I noticed while washing them. Overall, this is a very sub-standard product which I would not recommend to others and would not purchase again. ... show more

We've had this since 2017. The bowls have not rusted, chipped, dented, or cracked, no matter how many times they've been through the dishwasher or thrown across the room by my senior jerkdog. We love him, really. But if his bowl is empty, this feeder goes flying to get our attention. He's an abused rescue with food insecurity, we finally got him to quit digging for food in the trash, gain some weight, and feel secure in the fact that we will never not feed him. But now he makes sure to LET.US.KNOW. when his bowl is empty. Even at 3am. We only use one side now for food. But I digress... It puts up with his abuse. It goes through the dishwasher (stand and bowls). Bowls weekly, stand monthly. It still fits back together as tight as it did the day we got it, even though it has been taken apart and put back together repeatedly. The price is amazing, it cleans easily, and is very durable. ... show more
