Bought this for my tall german shepherd. Bowls are kinda small. But it’s actually the perfect size cuz I dont give him too much food. And water is enough too because I always like to refill with clean water. It’s sturdy when water bowl is full and the other has food. When he eats, it doesnt move. But if you dont put water on the other bowl, the stand moves a little bit. But it’s ok. It’s my mistake of not putting water in the other bowl. Love this product so much. So easy to clean. And my silly dog prefers to eat in different areas. So i just lift it and move it around. So easy and light! He seems to have less difficulty in eating too. Maybe because the bowl is smaller? I just wish it was a tad bit taller. Other dogs who are tall have to bend down more than the shorter dogs. By summer, i will have to fill up both bowls with water if ever I am not home. These shepherds drink a LOT of water! But overall, it’s perfect. Buyer shipped it right away too and it arrived earlier than expected. So happy wth that! Definitely a MUST BUY! Well worth the money!     • Make sure the legs are inserted behind the ridges

The legs were quite stable after I found the ridges on the feeder behind which the legs should be inserted. Without using these ridges the feeder was not stable and the screw holes in the legs did not align with those in the feeder. With the ridges found and used it seems fine. Our recently retired greyhound does jar the feeder a bit as he's cleaning up his bowl after eating, and it is able to withstand his pushing it. We won't be serving him much more than 2 cups of food at a time, so the 2 qt capacity of the bowls helps keep his food contained as he eats. He is a bit of a messy drinker and the tray does a decent job containing the evidence. We added a doormat under the feeder as well to help keep additional dripping off the floor. So far so good with this feeder. It is stable enough for what we are putting it through. ... show more

I like how tall this is. Make sure you look up the measurements, but for our Aussie mix, this is a great height. Her head stays almost completely level when eating instead of her being so bent over. The plastic is durable and easy to clean. The water stays in the top well when she spills it. This lost points because it is sort of....WOBBLY? My husband and I both checked that the screws are in right, but it does have a side to side wobble. Our girl is 10 and not going to knock this over, but I imagine that a more rambunctious dog or child could knock this right over. ... show more

This feeder has an edge around all of the eating surface area. Also, the two holes for the bowls have an edge around them. The bowls sit on this edge when placed in the holes. I didn't think about the importance of these features until I had the feeder in my home. All the drinking, slurping, and dripping my dog does from the water bowl is totally contained on the surface of the feeder. I agree with others, the feeder doesn't "feel" sturdy. But...my dog is 84 pounds. He eats and drinks robustly and so far, the feeder has not been knocked over or even moved much on my linoleum floor. Also, my cat puts his front paws up on feeder to reach the water bow. The feeder has never been knocked or pulled over by him. I've had the feeder for about 3 months. I would recommend it to others. ... show more

    • Wobbly after putting it together

This stand is not complicated to put together. Keep an eye out, the screws will be easy to lose! They're in a tiny bag You will need a screwdriver. A word of caution for those with Arf-ritis..... Die you pick up what I just did there? You will end up using more of your fingers than your whole hand to screw the legs on. I had no problem but my hands were a tiny bit achy. I only had to..... Paws once...... :) I'm proud of that one I didn't try to use a power drill, the angle is awkward. The top part of the stand, where the bowls are, is fine. Once you install the legs, even with the screws intact, it still feels loose and wobbly. I so not like this. It feels as if one wrong move or step and I'll break one of the legs The bowls are fine, in fact, they're huge! If the stand fails, at least you have the bowls. And the stand's top can be reused if that doesn't break but the legs do When our dog eats and drinks from this elevated stand, it shakes Not much, and it shouldn't be an issue. But if your dog is crazy, runs into stuff or is a clunky pup, you may want to reconsider a better quality stand. With our doggy, I feel my family or myself my end up breaking a leg. I do have alternative modes to rewuse the stans in case a leg breaks I'm trying not to dog on this stand completely... See what I did there? I'm going to keep it. Our house isn't a wild and crazy place. Our dog is big at 6 months and he has endless energy, but he's not crazy around his food and water. First off I've been looking for an elevated feeder for a few months now, I've looked at walmart and Petco and local pet shops. They have always been overpriced or not as high up as I needed. My doggo is 95 lbs. Hes a ridgeback lab mix. We love him as he was our first born. Anyway, hes 7 now and we noticed he eats A LOT slower this past year or tends to gulp up his food slowly as hes trying to defy gravity. Hes always been fed with bowls on the floor. But recently he was taking long breaks in between bites. He also had lyme disease last year so he was even more sluggish (hes back to his normal self) I decided that an elevated feeder would be more comfortable for him (hes 49 in dog years 🤷🏻♀️). That being said I received this feeder TODAY. I love it! We didnt get the storage one since we already had a dog food storage container that fits 30lbs of food. It fits nicely next to the food storage container under our windowsill in our kitchen. There is space under the window where a radiator used to be. It fits perfectly! Its light weight, easy to assemble and the perfect height for my dog. He looked at it and was hesitant at first. I put food in the bowl and he immediately ate then wagged his tail with excitement. I think hes more comfortable eating and doesn't have to strain his neck down to eat. My cat likes it too. The water bowl is still within reach for him. My only issue (and it's a very minor issue) is that the bowls sit at a forward facing angle so you just have to watch how much water you put into it. If you fill it all the way up and place the bowl in the hole it will flow out the front. But thats the only issue. Other than, that 5 stars for price, design and functionality 👌 ... show more

The stand was not easy to get the screws in. Once they were in and tight the stand still is NOT sturdy! I bought this for my new puppy and just started using it and not it's past the time to return for a refund. I purchased a much better and sturdier stand at a pet store. I would really like a Refund, it is a waste of money! ... show more

Perfect height and I love that the stand itself is made of durable plastic so it will last years to come and my dog's face will never get hurt on plastic rounded corners when he is in a rush to eat :-)
