The bowl isn’t removable but it’s so lightweight it’s no problem to pick up and rinse clean. These are beautiful. The stones are a nice quality, not those cheap 'plastic-y' rhinestones. I am super pleased with this set. They even sent me a little baggie with extra rhinestones! Each dish holds about 1 cup (500ml) of food or water. I wish they were a little bigger but that is a minor thing. I love this little pretty bowl for my little girl. At first she was afraid of the bling and was barking at it, so funny., She quickly got over it. I don't use it for water, it's too small for that. I leave dry food out for her all day. It's so pretty!
