One day I was cooking and I noticed that grease batter was getting all over my newly cleaned stove top. Then I remember seeing a product on Shark Tank where the sides came up real high to prevent spatter. I googled it because I couldn’t remember the name, and then I found this product on Amazon. It works just like it says it would. I used it to cook chicken thighs in olive oil on the stove And also burgers, and it works great!     • Doesn't fit all " 10 inch " pans

I have a 10" Red Copper pan. The pan has exactly 10" diameter. BUT the pan sides curve inward before dropping to the bottom of the pan. This produces a "lip" around the pan, and narrows the actual diameter of the pan's opening. The Frywall fits, but just barely. It's a bit fussy to get it in place, and a slight bump will knock it out. It still works, just not quite as well as it would with a slightly larger pan. Be aware you can't just measure the diameter of the pan. That said: once it's seated, it works GREAT. I have a gas range with an iron grate over the burners. Any time I fried something, the grate and the range top got covered in a film of grease. It rapidly got pretty disgusting. The Frywall blocks almost 100% of the spatter, and my range top stays clean much longer! ... show more

This is great! My wife would never let me cook anything that sizzles because of grease splatter. I used it the first time and wow. I cooked a great steak on medium high and the searing was perfect, and NO splatter on the stove!!! Thank You!

I gave it 3 stars but i want to love it. I ordered the “large” Frywall for my Lodge enameled skillet. Midway through the searing, things went sideways and the Frywall was everywhere. It could have ended badly and I finished searing without it. I returned it for the medium (received today.) This medium is too small for my Lodge but it fits a pan I don’t typically use for frying/searing. My hope is that Frywall and Lodge will work together. ... show more

Stupid, dangerous product. The slightest, and I mean the *slightest* bump and this floppy POS collapses into your pan, creating a mess and risk of burns as you try to fish the floppy thing out. My first time using it was a disaster--it fit into my pan perfectly, and I thought this was going to be great. I cooked with it for a few minutes then accidently and lightly bumped the side slightly, and it immediately flopped like a well-done, circular lasagna noodle. End up burning my hand with spattering hot grease and making a mess getting it out. Put it in the dishwasher, washed it, then tried again a few weeks later. Same issue--the absolute slightest bump and this thing flops into the pan and again I got hot grease spatter on my skin. Threw it straight in the trash this time, cursing the person who invented this stupid, dangerous product and cursing myself for buying it. Zero stars, scam product. ... show more
