Was going to stir fry some green beans for dinner. Thought I'd try it with my Wok. Wow, it fitted and I had no splatter at all. It's a great feeling not having to clean up the stove top. Can't wait to fry up some steaks. Bit princely for a piece of silicone, but well worth it.

The Frywall works, it's simple, but it does work, mostly anyway. Looking at it, it's almost kind of absurd, like an upside down lampshade over your pan. Here's the thing though, it doesn't catch everything. It catches 90% of spatters, but if it was even larger and more absurd it would catch even more of the spatter. As it stands, the 10% is still enough that I need to wipe down the stovetop after cooking, plus now I have to clean the frywall. I should also point out that I'm using it with a 10" stock pot to even further reduce spatter (I shallow fry a lot of chicken breast). In my opinion, it's a good product, but not a great one. I would buy it again if this first one wears out.

Both wife and I love them! We have tired all the splatter screens out there. Buy one, try it, throw it away. This has happened several times, with several different kinds. We were about to give up. Then bought a 12 Frywall in red, for a large frying pan we have. IT WORKED GREAT! We just bought this 10 in green, so we can tell them apart when we go to grab one out of the drawer. Easy to put on the pan, high sides are not in the way of adding or turning the food, no mess on the stove top or counter. Easy dishwasher clean up, no grease left on the silicone Frywall! Only tip I'd give is measure your pan and follow instructions, before you order. We both wish we'd found this sooner and saved a lot of money, time and clean up!

Well, it works so far. I've used it 2 times. It's easy enough to clean. The walls are pretty much unobtrusive. Now that I know the trick I'll use it more. The issue: This is not for shallow pans. In the photo, I have the first pan I used it in. A standard 10 inch pan. The bacon foamed so much it was weird and hard to cook with. FAQs told me to lift the shield out of the oil, hence the tall sided pan in the next photo. The taller sides kept the shield out of the oil and it worked just fine. This is a smooth sided cone. Nothing fancy. I had hoped that there would be some kind of lip to keep it off the bottom. It holds itself up just fine, but a lip may have made it usable on the more shallow pan. THIS IS SIZE SPECIFIC! Do not think you can get away with something not precise.

Stupid, dangerous product. The slightest, and I mean the *slightest* bump and this floppy POS collapses into your pan, creating a mess and risk of burns as you try to fish the floppy thing out. My first time using it was a disaster--it fit into my pan perfectly, and I thought this was going to be great. I cooked with it for a few minutes then accidently and lightly bumped the side slightly, and it immediately flopped like a well-done, circular lasagna noodle. End up burning my hand with spattering hot grease and making a mess getting it out. Put it in the dishwasher, washed it, then tried again a few weeks later. Same issue--the absolute slightest bump and this thing flops into the pan and again I got hot grease spatter on my skin. Threw it straight in the trash this time, cursing the person who invented this stupid, dangerous product and cursing myself for buying it. Zero stars, scam product.

WORKS, WORKS WORKS. I ordered the 10" size and fits great. it takes a little bit of adjusting to it but it works great. I also found that it works on a 11.5 pan as well.

I have a gas stove with a shiny black top and large, heavy metal grates. I like to fry things from time to time, but hesitate because I hate cleaning the stove, it is a real chore, and no matter how low I keep the flame, still grease spatter everywhere. So frustrated that the other day I did a search for effective grease spatter device, I have tried metal and silicone screens that go atop the pan, they are a mess, don't really capture all the grease and when you remove them to turn items, inevitably I end up dripping grease on the stove anyway. When I saw the Frywall, read some reviews, said what do I have to lose? Well, I will tell you want I have lost, I no longer have to clean my stove after frying using the Frywall, it is amazing! Did not interfere with turning my burgers, and was so easy to clean after using. They say you can put it in the dishwasher, I just left mine in the pan, brought it to my sink and put some soap and warm water in pan and swished it up along the sides of the Frywall with my dish washing brush, rinsed and dried it and folded it back into its little storage pouch, ready for next use. If you fry often and hate cleaning the stove as much as I do, buy this, you will not be sorry!
