This replacement still was a perfect fit for a rotten wood on an existing outdoor carport door. It appears to be manufactured well, with good-quality components. The price was right and installing this new one only required a few minutes.

    • Fits 36 inch exterior doors
Style: Discontinued - 36-inch
We just replaced all 3 of our exterior door thresholds with these from Frost King. They look great installed. They seem like they're sturdy and will last well. I like that the sturdy vinyl attaches to the metal. These replaced 30 year old hardwood and aluminum designed thresholds where the wood began to rot. Wood looks fancier, but I don't think the screws through exposed wood make a very water tight design. These have wood hidden under the vinyl, so the only exposed parts are water proof. It took some figuring for my husband to figure out how to separate the vinyl from the wood block, then snap them back together, but he got it done. We just finished off the installations with 100% silicone caulk around all the edges. ... show more

    • Replaced a rotted door sill
Style: Discontinued - 36-inch
This sill was an exact copy of the rotted one I replaced. I pulled the plastic off to secure it the wooden party to the floor and used caulking between floor and sill to prevent water from seeping underneath. It wasn't fast but it was good and just what was needed. Certainly cheaper than buying an entire new dirt frame ... show more

Review Image by Mac
It is super heavy duty and super sturdy. The look and color is very good. Overall it would be good if they had good instructions on how to install it to existing door frame. Had to do a lot of deep diving. Also no mounting hardware is included.
