I bought this tape to stick to the rails of a stand I bought for my lap steel guitars to cushion them and keep them from sliding around. I had originally thought about using Velcro but wasn't too stoked about sticking a piece of Velcro on the backs of my steels. Somebody on a forum suggested using insulation tape and, you know what? This stuff was so handy when I was trying to install a doggy door in my sliding door at my apartment. There was a screw I could not get out so it created a gap between the door frame and the doggy door but this stuff closed off that gap and it was so easy to install!

I just installed this weather stripping at the bottom of an old uneven window. After cleaning the chanel, the sticky side adhered easily. The foam is thick and pliable enough to create a seal.

I used this foam tape to dampen steel door on frame slamming. We've got door closers but we have a large open room and that causes the steel storm door to slam against its frame.
