There isn't a need to drill any holes into the walls. That said, it makes it easy to move this from room to room or to adjust the height depending on who's working out. I worried about storing this, but it actually doesn't take up too much space. I am no boxer, but I'm going to find ways to use this to work in punching technique. It's a little strange because punching through it will snap it back into your outstretched hand. I guess I'll see what I can figure out. They also use it as a stress reliever, if they have any anger I encourage them to take a few hits out on the bag to relieve some of the stress they have built up. They absolutely love it.
