Does not cool enough!! It might be ok for make up and products that need to stay cool but it definitely does not cool enough for perishables or food that need to stay cold. Milk and even half n' half curdled after 4 days!! I used to be able to keep a quart of half n half for over 5 weeks in my other mini fridge/cooler. This one doesn't even have ice forming on the inside rear wall as the other ones do. Not a good product at all... Avoid buying it! ... show more

My review is based on just opening box. The color is what I would consider close to Tiffany blue, it’s the cutest! My favorite feature is you have to actually turn the little handle to open it! I expected it to be just a pull open like the larger mini fridges. The physical size is great if you’re looking for a desk, cubicle space type areas. Way too small for dorm room type spaces. The inside size will hold nine 7.5 ounce Poppi cans and that’s without removing the small rack. Super lightweight! I expected it to have some weight to it but it’s light as a feather. Very quiet. I double and then triple checked to make sure it was on. The door opens almost flat, doesn’t stop at a 90° angle. ... show more

Even though it’s viewed as a refrigerator, it makes more sense to think of it as a cooler that happens to be powered. The instructions say that you can expect it to get to about 20° below the room temperature which in most cases is not going to be as cold as you would expect from a refrigerator. Saying it has a capacity of nine cans is pretty generous: it can fairly easily hold 6 12-ounce cans, but getting three more in would be pushing it. There is an upper rack that’s removable and when it’s in, it will not hold a 16 ounce can And today I discovered you can forget about putting a 20 ounce bottle in: it’s too tall to fit vertically and also won’t fit horizontally. I did manage to hold it at an angle and let the door trap it in place, but a single bottle takes up fully half of the space inside the cooler. But it’s nice and compact and it does keep things cold, especially when it’s full. And while the latch on the door isn’t robust, it is effective. It’s lightweight and the retro design is a lot of fun, especially for those of us who grew up with the old bullet proof fridges built in the 50s and 60s. ... show more

Honestly, this is probably one of my top 5 purchases of all time. I am a para, and I am on the opposite side of the building than the staff lounge. I had bariatric surgery two years ago, so I always keep yogurt, cheese, and protein drinks on hand as healthy snacks. I keep this cooler on my desk. My superintendent told me I couldn't have it since mini fridges can violate fire codes, but once he realized it's just a cooler with a fan, it was approved! It does a great job keeping everything cold, and I can fit quite a bit in there. I usually have 2-4 shakes, which I just put on their sides on the bottom. Then on the top shelf is where I keep my cheese and a yogurt or cottage cheese. It's SO nice that I don't have to worry about bringing something and have it end up spoiling because I don't get to the staff refrigerator in time. Obviously, besides storing just the right amount and keeping things cold, this is SO precious! It legitimately looks like a little mini fridge and the latch handle is stinking perfect. The cooler is long, like a rectangular prism, and has a handle on top. I get compliments on it all the time and I ALWAYS tell people to get it. It was around $30 I think, and I use it EVERY DAY. Review: I like the design and it runs very quietly, which is a big plus. However, I expected it to cool better than it does. It keeps items cool, but not as cold as I hoped. Overall, it’s decent for light use, but I wouldn’t rate it a perfect mini fridge. I’d give it about a 6/10.

If you read no further, look up "thermoelectric" before buying. Makes all the difference as to how cool this thing really gets. They should put THERMOELECTRIC in the title to bring attention to it outright so, perhaps it would get us newbies to look up what it means before buying this "Fridge". The term "thermoelectric" doesn't show up in the "About this item" details either (which is what I read.) I did do a quick visual scan of the photos before adding it to the cart and what caught my eye (advertising ploy?) in upper case GIANT font was: "EFFICIENT COOLING". And then, in BOLD upper case font a little lower down: "20 to 28 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT...". I thought: "Wow, this thing really gets cold." Not! Read on my more cautious friends:) In the REGULAR font it says: "...below ambient room temperature" so, all together: "20-28 degrees below ambient room temperature". Unfortunately, I didn't read on until after I bought it and saw how warm it was inside. The Giant and then the BOLD fonts caught my eye and nothing else initially. I thought the "about this item" was sufficient info. Anyhow... So, after purchase I learned about thermoelectric cooling and did my own math. My room temperature now (serious heat wave in NYC) is 90 degrees. The inside of this "cooler" at 20-28 degrees below ambient room temperature would top off at 62-70 degrees. How on Earth is that going to keep "beverages and snacks chilled until ready to enjoy" as the product description says? My experience... it still feels warmish inside and I put in an 8 inch frozen blue ice pack and a 16 oz Frozen bottle of spring water inside to help it along while plugged into the A/C wall plug. But, I could have put those ice packs inside my non refrigerated Igloo Playmate and gotten close to the same results. Got my QR code and plan to return it when my dang elevator gets fixed. ... show more

Great price! Very compact, light weight, and easy to use. Within plugging it in you can immediately hear the cooler working. In less than 45 minutes my beverages were nice a cold. The only minor gripe I have is how loud it is.
