I tried lightweight litter when the first company came out with it - that was a horrible experience! I think that was tidy cat. So I wasn't looking forward to trying it again. But this works so well! I'm switching over! It works as well as my favorite litter (Fresh Step Clean Paws) and is much easier to handle since it's way lighter. It's quick to cover waste scents and doesn't track much. It kicks up dust when I first dump it in the pan, but not much otherwise. It's easier to clean since it's lighter. I have a chronic illness / disability so the effort required for any task really affects what else I'll be able to do in a day and week. I live upstairs in an apartment and I am alone so I am unable to carry heavy objects down or up. This litter is truly lightweight and helped me very much. It does smell good too. There’s some dust but that’s normal with litter.

Over years of being cheap and owning a cat, I've finally accepted you get what you pay for when it comes to cat litter. I used to always buy the cheapest stuff out there and used to absolutely hate dealing with the litter box, it was always a disaster. Smelly, hard to clean, litter tracking, I had all these issues. The urine and litter used to turn to a disgusting muddy paste that clung to the litter box. We now have two cats (one large and one small, and downsized from two litter boxes to one) and this is the best litter I've found for the cost. I can scoop once a week on trash day, top the litter off with some fresh and two boxes easily last me 4-6 weeks. With subscribe and save it's about a $1/day but so worth the less hassle. This stuff scoops so much easier and never had an issue with smell. Still some tracking but not terrible. The lighter weight is definitely easier to store and pour. I do use it in conjunction with the Fresh Step litter box deodorizer, which also easily lasts a month. ... show more

Due to space, I need to have the cat litter box inside a room, so this clumping litter is dust free, ideal for the environment that my cat is in, it’s ease of use, it’s durability is ideal for up to 3 weeks period even tho it says it is guaranteed for 10 days odor control, at the most so it can keep fresh to the extent possible with the Febreeze essence if you at least scoop the poop out constantly. ... show more
