The media could not be loaded. Let me start off by saying that this is the 3rd machine I've ordered off of Amazon and the ONLY one that I'm keeping! The price point on this is really good for the amount of ice and quality of machine! The ease of usage, quality/size of ice and quick ice making really sold me! I live in California and use the machine year round. I typically notice that most machines only last us about a year... I did buy the extended warranty so we will see how this one fares. The size of the basket that holds the ice is the best I've ever had! Works perfectly for my family of 4 that are heavy ice users! It has a sensor that trips the machine to stop making ice when the oversized basket is full but will start back automatically when ice is removed or melts back into the tank below which is used to create more ice. Many have mentioned that this machine doesn't keep the ice frozen. Mine seems to. Maybe it depends on your climate but even on these 85° warmer days- I'm not having issues with over melting or sticky ice. I never transfer to the freezer and stays ready to use but again- we use it all day. All-in-all, I'm really happy so far! Excited to try the self-cleaning function because that was the one thing I didn't like about my previous machines- they were super gross inside and hard to clean! Also, I did but one of the actual cube making machines before this one but it would break off in huge sheets and I hated how loud it was when having to break them up. I'm not an ice eater either so those pellet ice makers aren't my thing. I'm happy with the large size bullets that this one produces and what I am used to anyhow since my previous machine made the same. The footprint on this machine is also really nice! Makes a ton of ice, basket holds a bunch but it's tall and slender. Perfect for my small/old apartment where space is an issue but I can't live without my ice! I do use my Brita filter pitcher to fill it up. I totally recommended this one!

Lots of folks stated they wished it would hold ice. I almost didn't buy it but am glad I did. If you use ice once a week, then the ice will melt and continue to make new ice as long as you have it on. Sometimes in the morning some of the pieces are stuck together but for the most part we get to enjoy ice on our counter whenever we want. Highly recommend - noise: it's not silent but about the level of a desktop fan and of course when the ice drops it makes noise - no heat issues around the unit - easy to refill

I've had 4 countertop ice makers in 4 years. There were things to quibble about on all of them, but my primary complaint is they were just made cheaply and died young. This one is much heavier than any of them and larger too. But the build quality, especially compared to the previous 4, is quite impressive. It looks like a much more expensive device than it is, and the impression of quality continues when you plug it in and add water. The compressor, fans, and pump, are all veery quiet. The only noise you get from it is when the first couple batches of ice drop into the bin, and when it starts dropping ice it doesn't play around. It makes ice fast. I've had it now for a couple weeks and I'm very pleased with it. As will all countertop ice makers, if you pour cold water in, you get bigger ice bullets faster. And as with all ice makers, if you use purified (distilled or de-ionized) water you will have less maintenance and trouble. But at its price point, I've been amazed at how much I like it. Highly recommended.

I have had this since Feb and I use it daily, I use the waterline feature, so it refills automatically. This ice machine is wonderful, quickly makes perfect ice and is normally very quiet. My only complaint/concern is sometimes it makes a loud screaming sound so I have to turn it off. Sometimes just letting it rest will take care of the sound but if it continues, I will then empty the water and put clean water in and run the self cleaning function a few times then empty out the water and put in clean water to make more ice. I would say as long as I clean it weekly it doesn't scream at me. I wish I could run it all the time w/out the screaming noise but I also worry that noise might be a sign of a bigger issue.

My Ice Machine only worked for two months. I love how it looked & how it perfectly matched my kitchen appliances. I was sad after it stopped working. Ice Machine makes a loud noise & won't make any ice. There was only 30 day coverage through Amazon now Im in a situation dealing with company directly & who knows if I will get help. It's been a week since I called & no response. The email in the brochure don't work .Im dealing with an 1800 number & no one answers .

It's very compact in width and doesn't take up too much countertop space. Its quiet and makes a good amount of ice, more than I expected. I just purchased and I hope it lasts a good while. I recommend this machine.

I read reviews and bought this based on them. Love it is self cleaning. Love size or water tank. Quickly makes ice. Started to make a loud noise after 3 weeks and then stopped making ice completely. I’m buying again because of the reviews. Pretty on counter but larger than expected. Stands very tall so you need room.
