I've purchased a couple of these for different homes. Easy to assemble and sturdy. The rubber protectors that cover each hook that hangs over the door can leave scuff marks, but that's to be expected. Kids play for literally hours with these things. The ball that comes with this bounces well and seems to be made of quality rubber. It's a reasonable price for what seems to be very thick plastic and metal, and I expect it to last a lifetime (as long as they're not constantly dunking, but the door will probably break before this hoop will.)

This is a great gift for a sports loving kid

This is my 9 year old sons favorite toy. It hangs on his bedroom door and he is always tossing a ball into the hoop. I attaches over the door and comes with a soft ball so it is not distructive to the door structure or walls. This is a great size for hanging right on the back of his bedroom door, it is not to small, but also not to large. The quality and thickness of the hoop is better than most, many are made of cheap materials and this is sturdy.

Good quality on the net and backboard baught it for my employees in my office and ran a contest with it perfect for my needs. Would prefer if it had a setup where you could clamp on either side of the door however it only works on the interior of closed doors (that could just be my offices doors tho)

Better than others!!

Every kids dream.. and every parents night mare!! I can't stand hearing a ball bounce in my house!!! But I can't give it a bad review for my hatred towards it. I deducted two stars for the durability because my child dunks on it and the clear backboard has tiny stress cracks in it from his ruff play. But several months later it's still holding up (even though I pray it breaks regularly). Overall great buy for the price tag!! We have went through probably 3 other over the door bball rims and they all have broke within weeks! So this one is definitely holding up much better!! ***UPDATE 5/16/21- this stupid annoyance is still holding on for dear life!!! :/ it's been a couple years at least and it's like a cat. 9 lives! Granted it's all duck taped from the constant dunking from my now 16 year old, not played with daily anymore but still multiple times a week! So if you want durability, go for it. But if you want a quiet house, turn and run! Happy shopping!

My boys love them, I got 2 one for each. They are strong and well made the net is not great but we purchased new ones no big deal. Other then that, they are fine. My boys are pretty rough with them and they are holding strong. I did purchase foam balls, although the rubber ball is super cute and strong, it loud. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Great Door Rim

My boys love this rim. It’s durable and easy to assemble. My 9 year old assembled it with the supervision of his grandfather. Everything you need to assemble it comes in the box. Even the needle for the ball pump. The ball is surprisingly super durable and heavy and the rim is a real metal rim. My only complaint is the amount of noise that comes along with it when they’re using it. Sounds like they’re rebuilding my home. I wish it came with more cushion for the back to silence it more. I also wish there were more options of ways to hang it. We can only hang it on the entry door to my boys room which poses the problem of the rim destroying my door frame molding every time the door is opened.

Nice… but not really.

The product is very nice quality. The problem I have with it is the slight mis-advertisement of being “office friendly.” I just bought this for my classroom and quickly discovered that the experience of the ball that comes with this product is very dangerous for my kiddos. The ball has a ton of inertia and could easily damage my walls or hit one of my kids in the face. The ball also has an extremely hard and loud contact with the goal to the comparison of a dropped textbook on the floor. The goal also does not allow for my door to close. Would NOT recommend unless used for recreational use in a bedroom, open-floor man cave, or in a home with no breakables or carpet to stop the inertia.
