This is super lightweight, and a great price compared to Black Diamond or similar brands of rechargeable lightweight headlamps. Fantastic for camping/backpacking, comfortable to wear, and so light and compact that I can just toss it in my backpack for day hikes in case of emergencies. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were going to hike a 6-mile loop and be back ~2 hours before sundown. We’re both experienced hikers but I guess somehow took the wrong turn or something, and found ourselves lost and still hiking deep in the woods (in the pouring rain) by the time the sun set, with both of our phones dead. It was a new moon, there was no starlight due to cloud cover, we were too far from any cities to see any haze from light pollution, the tree cover was incredibly thick, it was raining HARD, and you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. Much less tell where the trail was. We were soaked through with no gear and the temperature was way into hypothermia-area, with everything much too wet to start a fire or make a torch. Thank god I had this little light with me. It’s plenty bright enough for 2 people and 2 dogs to eventually find their way out of the woods and back to the main road, has enough battery life to last many hours of hiking without getting dim, and was able to withstand the rain fine (granted, it was worn under the brim of a baseball cap, but still got soaked). I’ve owned this for months and it’s always worked great for camping and stuff, but I felt compelled to write a review now that it pretty much saved me from dying from hypothermia in the woods last night. I’m buying one for my boyfriend too and another to keep in my car/purse. Would recommend.

This headlamp would be perfect for any outdoor enthusiast, specifically backpackers and night-time runners. This headlamp has many great features. The headlamps best features are: rechargeability, lightweight, very durable, compact, extremely bright light, long-lasting battery, waterproof, one-hundred and twenty-day warranty, and is a great value for the price. This headlamp is sensationally lightweight, weighing in at 2.4 ounces. This is perfect for any type of outdoorsman trying to cut the weight of their gear bag on a long hike or a runner who doesn’t want a big bulky headlight weighing them down on their head while on a walk or jog at night. It has a very bright light that can last for many hours on a single charge. The average length for a single charge is up to forty hours. This allows you to see where you are going at all hours of the night. Also, this headlamp has multiple light: high beam mode, low beam mode, strobe mode, and SOS light setting that are all accessible from the same central button. This makes it easy to change to a different setting if you are running or hiking. The headlamp is very durable for how compact and lightweight it is. It remains fully functional after being dropped at shoulder level many times or getting banged-up in the bottom of an outdoor bag. For the times when the weather is inclement this headlamp also shines, because of its waterproofing. This is a great feature since, you may never know when a rainstorm, snowstorm, or an accident may happen and by having a waterproof headlamp would be essential. This is very convenient since, most people have access to a USB port for charging in their cars or on their personal computers. The only thing I wish the headlamp had that it currently doesn’t, is an over the top head band. It currently only has an around the forehead strap to hold the light up and this strap sometimes isn’t enough support to keep the light in place during vigorous activities without uncomfortable tightening. I work at night a lot. I like having a light that I don't have to carry in my hand when I am doing pre trips on my truck every night. I have tried just about every light that you can wear on you head over the last 20+ years and they all have something I don't like about them like, battery runs down to soon,batteries are ridiculously hard to put in, fall apart in a couple of days. etc. I can't remember when I bought the first one of these but it has been a while ago now. I had to laugh when I clicked on the page just now it says you have bought 5 of these in the past. Well it's been a hell of a lot more than that. Not because they don't last because I misplace them or purposely leave one in the different cars, my tool box. My ebike emergency bag , my motorcycle. etc. Now let's get to to why I love them. They last a very long time. They are bright, they are comfortable to wear. If you find you have finally ran the battery down no problem as long as you keep a usb charger around which I do. I would estimate I probably have 15 of these things spread out around here I can see 2 of them still new in the box that I keep on a shelf next to my bed right now that are there for emergency power failure. If you decide to buy one I would say buy two if you use them a lot so that one can be charging while you are using the other one. I do that with my ebike wear one on my head and have a spare one in my bag. And I can recharge if necessary with the usb plug on the handle bars of the e bike. Also if you take one camping you can use one of those Portable Charger Power Banks and go for days actually probably weeks. Oh almost forgot if you long press the power button it will turn on just the red lights which I use almost every night of the week when I am getting up to make a bathroom trip. Red light is less disruptive of your sleep and others people around you as well.

Received in good condition. Everything is working perfectly. It is bright and I love the SOS feature. After a full charge, it is still lighting up even after 2 weeks of daily use (less than 30 mins a day). This is just in comparison to other headlamp I own. Overall, I like this headlamp.
