  • Doesn't work
Don't buy this! The price was definitely tempting for me but it's to good to be true. Yea this thing would cut grass but most of the time It would go directly to one corner of my lawn and get it's self stuck, then it would just spin its tires ripping up my lawn in the process. If I wanted this thing to work I would need to supervise it the whole time just so it wouldnt get stuck. ... show more

  • How long will it last ?
So 600 dollars is not cheap for a small mower, but I thought never having to mow again it's worth that. Well ONE month later on my flat, small yard and the electic motor is 4 time louder than when I first used it. The mower gets stuck in corners and 15 min later when I check on it it's dug a hole and the bearings are going bad. I will be VERY shocked if this mower makes it thru ONE summer ... show more

  • The most affordable, but simple and reliable lawn mower robot
After testing this for nearly two months, I’m finally ready to share my thoughts. I previously tried two other robotic mowers, both more expensive and feature-rich on paper, but both ended up being returned because they just didn't perform in reality. I chose the M800Plus for two main reasons: first, it’s for my fully fenced backyard, and second, about 40% of that yard has a 20-degree slope. After researching countless reviews, I decided on this model, and I can honestly say it’s been the best choice so far—especially considering the price. It offers easy installation, a reliable return-to-base function, and great cutting power. The app is also very simple and user-friendly. It might skip the fancy bells and whistles, but it stands out as a top-tier budget option—consistently reliable and impressively affordable. ... show more

  • Great Little Helper
I'm pleased with what this little machine can accomplish for the price point. I've observed it running across 10 days for about 20 hours. Here is what I have learned: Pros - Quiet mowing and movement. - Avoids obstacles well. - Easy to clean and maintain. - It attempts to push through uneven grass, leaves, and small twigs. It may stop mowing but will continue maneuvering unless it gets stuck. - It can change direction to achieve mowing a slope. Cons - The mower works reliably on a full charge for about 1.5 hours in a yard with slopes, bumps, and obstacles. The charge itself lasts about 2 hours, but around 20% battery charge, it tries to go Home to its charging station. - After about 30 minutes of "Mow" setting, the mower changes direction at an angle. Another reviewer noticed this also, and that it appears to put itself into Random Mode after 30 minutes. i do not like this, however it still cuts grass effectively. - It cannot run after dark (I have not tried lighting options) - If stuck in a dip where wheels lose traction, it can spin in place, wearing battery down until rescued or battery dies. - When in Random Mow mode, obstacles send the mower in a completely different direction, which can leave an area unfinished. Tips - Use when the grass is completely dry for best performance. - Clear the yard of large leaves, twos, rocks, animal waste, and tall clumps of grass. For challenging areas it doesn't want to mow, try clearing more debris or raking ahead of it. - if in a fenced area with clear borders, you should be able to let it go unsupervised, but it is best to stay where you can hear it or check it every 30 mins. - If in an unfenced area, supervise the machine (and people and animals who may try interacting with it). - Take time to observe how it handles your yard. You can hit Stop, lift it up and place it where you want. It will take an immediate right, then mow in rows for first 30 minutes, then go Random. To prevent this, set a timer and use the app to stop the machine after 30 minutes, place it where needed if it veered off course, and start it back up with Mow button in app. ... show more

  • Not worth the time
Been Trying for an hour to setup the device on the 1star app. Keeps loading and downloading, never ends, fails to connect to WiFi etc… poorly designed. Not worth the hassle. Don’t ever buy the cheapest

  • Great Concept, Defective Bluetooth Module
⭐⭐ (2/5 Stars) — Great Concept, Defective Bluetooth Module Out of the Box I wanted to love this mower. The build quality feels solid, it boots up cleanly, and the concept — no boundary wires, AI vision navigation, app control — is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, my unit arrived with a defective Bluetooth module that prevents any app pairing, making roughly half the advertised features completely inaccessible. Here's what works: ✅ Powers on successfully (full green indicator sequence) ✅ Bottom main power switch functions normally ✅ All panel indicator lights respond ✅ Emergency STOP button works ✅ Cutting height adjustment knob works ✅ Unit charges on the base station Here's what doesn't work: ❌ Bluetooth never activates — the WiFi/Unlock button produces zero response after holding 3, 5, and 10 seconds ❌ App cannot detect the device (using correct YARDCARE app v1.3.4, latest version) ❌ Cannot access scheduling, mowing modes, or any app-controlled features ❌ WiFi LED never enters pairing/flashing mode I verified everything per the manual: correct app installed, phone Bluetooth and WiFi both enabled, within 6 meters of the unit, bottom switch in ON position, unit fully charged. Tried multiple power cycles and resets. The hardware Bluetooth radio is simply non-functional. I am not alone — other international buyers have reported the exact same issue with this model. This appears to be a factory defect affecting a subset of units where the Bluetooth module is dead on arrival. The mower CAN operate in basic random mode without the app, but you lose scheduling, mowing pattern selection, OTA firmware updates, and remote control — all of which are prominently advertised features. I am pursuing a warranty replacement through Yardcare support. If the replacement unit works correctly, I will update this review. The product concept deserves 4-5 stars. This specific unit earns 2 due to the defect. Buyer tip: When you receive yours, immediately test the Bluetooth pairing before doing anything else. If the WiFi LED does not flash after a long press of the Unlock/WiFi button during initial setup, your Bluetooth module is defective — initiate a return immediately. ... show more

  • Okay for simple lawn
+ Cuts the grass + Cheaper than others + Quiet - Can’t adjust time for orderly cut. Can’t finish my simple backyard (square shape, single tree, 2200sqf) can’t finish because random cut kicks in after 40 min. - Managed to drive off the lawn and couldn’t find its way back, got stuck few times as well. So you’ll have to keep an eye on this one. ... show more
