This headlamp is great! I did a lot of research on headlamps before settling on this one. I bought it for a rafting/camping trip and it’s going to be perfect for my needs! The elastic strap is comfortable. The usb-c charging cable is super convenient. It was easy to learn how to use. It’s plenty bright enough for my needs and the red light is nice to have. It’s nice to only have the basics and not a bunch of clicks to have to go through. Click once for the low setting. Click again for high. Click a third time for strobe. Hold button for 1.5 seconds to activate the red light and click again to activate the SOS red light. The fact that the light can be tilted down is awesome too! I’m definitely going to be able to use this while walking around camp and reading/navigating in our tent. When we get back home, this is going to be an awesome light to help me see better when I’m painting my nails! I think I’m going to use this quite a bit. Love this headlamp and would definitely buy again! If you’re on the fence, don’t be. You won’t be disappointed.

This headlamp is super useful and bright for night hiking, working in small spaces when it's difficult to hold a phone or flashlight. It charges quickly. Battery life is several hours. The headband is easily adjustable. It has been helpful when camping, hiking, spelunking, looking for things in the garage. It makes life a bit easier when I need both hands to find something. I recommend.

These lamps are the absolute best, especially for the price. They’re super bright and the battery charge lasts forever. Honestly, the elastic band will wear out before the lamp does. This is the third set I’ve purchased (my original headlamp from years ago still works).

It works okay. Definitely worth a couple bucks! My only issue is it doesn’t seem to hold a charge for very long. Nice and bright with a full charge but a little into using it and it slowly got dimmer and dimmer. Overall not bad

By far my favorite headlamp that I own (and I own several). It meets or exceeds the quality and functionality of headlamps costing several times the price. The overall build quality is outstanding. The headband is very comfortable (I often forget that I'm even wearing it). The battery life is fantastic (lasting around 7-8 hours on low... which is perfect for any around camp or night hiking uses). When switching to the highest brightness setting, it really lights things up! (no pun intended ;)). It takes 3-4 hours to change back to full when the battery is fully depleted. I typically bring a small power bank and let it recharge during the day, so no problem there. It is extremely easy and intuitive to use (just a few presses of the button to cycle through light modes). I do wish that it had a lock-out option to prevent it from accidentally getting turned on, however a cheap case from Amazon solved that concern (as well as helps protect the headlamp). This is without question my go-to headlamp... so much in fact that I've boughten several (a few for myself and a few as gifts for my friends and family). The color selection is another huge plus... very vibrant and lets you get exactly what you want. All in all, an excellent headlamp at a great price. Highly recommend!

I just received this and it was packaged well. It came with a coupon code good for 30% off of my next order and signing up to their website provides additional special offers, which is pretty sweet. The light looks and feels like it's well made and it's pretty bright inside the room I'm in (it's noon, clear skies in FL, and my window shades are open on 3 large windows). Even with the room flooded by sunlight, it lit up the wall some 15 feet away and performed extremely well at arm's length. I bought this for close-up lighting usually associated with camping, so I think it's going to do very well in that area. I have a 3 day, 2 night camping trip planned for next week and hopefully it will rain so I can give this a real world evaluation. I will post an update and let you know how it goes. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality for the price upon my initial unpacking, so I'm rating it 4 stars for now and will reevaluate with my future update. If this performs as well as I expect I will be taking advantage of that discount and ordering more. UPDATE: I've been using it every night since I received it. It's great for walking Scooby and also worked out great on a 2 night camping trip. The range is good for in camp but it's not going to light up whatever it is making those noises beyond the treeline. Was is a bear? a bigfoot? some creepy guy like that one uncle every family has but doesn't want to talk about? I'll never know but that's part of the fun when camping! =) I got caught in a pretty hard rain while using it and it didn't skip a beat. Very happy for how lightweight and comfortable it is. It's soooooo much better than messing with a hand-held flashlight. Scooby absolutely loves it. When he's wearing it he thinks he's the coolest dog on the block, which, of course, he is. Just watching him running around with it on in the back yard was worth every penny. EDIT 9-13: The photo with Scooby sitting by the fire was taken in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. These lights performed so well they had enough power to spare so Scooby could get his nightly play time in. Read my comments below for more detail about how awesome Foxelli products are. EDIT 9-22: I now own three of these awesome little headlamps. Can't give a better review than I already have but let my repeat orders be a testimony to this outstanding company.

UPDATE: Wanted to add that my puppy just chewed up my beloved headset - so I reached out to Foxelli again to see if I could just get a replacement strap (the light is fine). Sadly no but to no surprise, they offered to, once again, send me a FREE headset. I told them no, that wasn't right as they were so great the first time and it was my puppy's fault that I'd just buy another - my third. BUY THIS HEADSET!!! ----------------- After owning the headset for about six months it stopped charging - and while that was a bummer it's almost the reason for my 5-star glowing review as I reached out to Foxelli support to let them know what happened to see if there was some way to reset the headset. They replied quickly, within a day or two, and while there wasn't a way to reset it they immediately offered to either send me a brand new headset at no charge or to issue me a full refund - I was FLOORED. They continued to reply promptly and, without me providing evidence of the failure or asking me to return the defective headset, sent me out a brand new one! I was truly refreshing to see a company stand behind their product, especially something so relatively inexpensive, in such a customer focused way. I will absolutely buy from them in the future any chance I get. Oh, and as for the headset itself- it's GREAT. I use it on a daily basis, it's bright, has 2 illumination levels, is comfortable and doesn't get hot at all (compared to some of the "band" based headsets). It charges fairly quickly - I do wish it was USB-C but not a big deal. In short it's everything I want in a headlamp with a company that stands behind their product. In short - if you need a headlamp BUY THIS ONE.
