This is actual the 2nd one I purchased since the first one performed so well and my running volume increased dramatically over the past year. The first one I bought in 2019 to start doing runs at night. I had stopped running during the pandemic and didn't pick it back up until 2022. My last use of this was around January 2020, my next run was March 2022 and the headlamp still had charge! I rotate between the two to give the headbands a wash and a chance to air out after runs.     • Very intuitive one button does it all!

This is such a great light but what distinguished it is that the one button does everything you need it to when you need it done. Have you ever accidentally pushed the wrong button on a headlamp and instead of turning on the red lights you blast the campground in the lumens worthy of an alien abduction film? That is harder to do on this lamp as you switch functions by holding down the one button to switch from red light to the bright whites and hold down to switch back. So after everything is set up at camp and you don’t need bright lights for the evening hold down the button until it switches modes and whenever you need those red lights a standard quick press on that one button and BOOM you got what you need without having to cycle through. It is especially great in the middle of the night when nature calls and you are barely awake. Grab the light and safe to know that whatever you had set it on before is what you will get with that one button. Also there is an internal timer that once you have the lighting mode set and have it on for a few seconds all you need to do is press the button once and the light turns off without cycling to the flashing lights. i got this on a whim and in the more than yearish ive had it, ive charged it twice, left it outside in -15f, and dropped it in a lake, having to dive for it. still kicks ass. the red light occasionally doesn't work but give it a smack and it comes on no problem. this thing is almost as awesome as my black diamond light, just has fewer settings. just buy one, you'll use it ... show more
