Very sturdy and looks so much better. It did take a long time to put together. But it was easy. It's all labeled and has clear instructions. I gave this product 4 stars bc of minor imperfections (misalignments) drawer didn’t line up and had to use a mallet foot correction so the drawer base could slide into the slot. Next, I read all the blah about it taking 3 hours to assemble. I’m a carpenter by trade and very handy but that doesn’t matter it takes one person at least 2.5hrs to assemble. On a positive note, the piece is very sturdy, very sleek design nice curvature and crisp edges and seems like it’s built to last a while and for the price I give it b 4.5/5. Started project at 15:40 finished 18:49.

Deciding to buy this off the reviews I did anyway. This is probably one of the best desks I’ve seen. As it does take about a hour to put together, it is durable, sturdy, and a good material overall. It arrived way earlier than It said on the app depending on where you live. I’m just confused on some of these bad reviews. Make sure you're reading the instructions 100%. As I have no idea how some are saying it’s coming apart when there done.

This is a lovely and sturdy piece, it was delivered early and right before a snow storm, so I had a day off work to just focus on it. It took me about four hours to complete on my own with a tv going. If you go slow and lay out all the pieces it will help, IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO GET THE SCREWS flushed with the drawer railing/sliders then keep trying or remove the screw. On a few of my rails, they only have two screws instead of three because I could not get it flushed and that teeny tiny issue would keep the wheels from rolling and the drawers not being able to open so you have to very forcibly remove the drawers and keep trying. Once I figured it out and removed the screw(s) the drawers glide effortlessly. Very solid piece and looks pricey but it was some work.

This dresser is heavy and seemed like it would be solid, but fell apart as soon as my husband assembled it. Returning it was a hassle since it’s 93lbs. I would not recommend buying it

Personally this piece took me literally like 5 hours to complete (this was my first time) But also i couldn't help but notice some of the pieces had already been screwed into you could see damage to the wood around the screwholes and it's honestly unfair i paid the same for a basically refurbished dresser as people did for a brand new one. Also one of the screw holes was severely damaged and i literally couldn't get through the wood with the screw I was even going to return this because of that but i had already made it so far and it would've seriously been inconvenient for me to take everything apart again. Save yourself the time and just Order a dresser from AFW.
