I bought this balaclava to wear under a helmet, and overall it works well. The material is lightweight, breathable, and comfortable for longer periods of wear. It helps keep sweat off my face and makes wearing a helmet more comfortable. The reason for 4 stars is that the material is thinner than I expected. That's great for warm weather, but it doesn't provide much warmth in cooler temperatures. It also stretches a bit after repeated use.
