Well designed and sturdy, but get ready to spend a long time building this. 1 person takes 6-8 hours, and you DO NEED 2 people to complete some steps. I estimate 4 to 6 hours with 2 people for the entire build. Instructions need improvement. They could be A LOT BETTER in some areas. Pictures were too small, so it took a while to decipher them. ALSO, you WILL need a drill because the holes to attach the sliders to the drawers ARE NOT pre-drilled. NOTE that the sliders also attach to THE BOTTOM of the drawers, NOT the top or middle as in most ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture. All in all, this is a quality piece of furniture and a good purchase. Avoid the Hollywood Lights add-on. The lights just stick on with double-sided tape, and it is USB powered. It DOES NOT come with a USB power adapter.

My 16yo picked this out as a new vanity for her room. It arrived quickly via FedEx in 3 boxes (two with the parts and one with the lights). The instructions say it’s a 2 person job, but I was able to do 98% of it myself as a 5’4” 125 lb woman. The only part I needed help with was lifting the completed top (with mirror) onto the base (drawer unit). That was not anything I could have done on my own. I added a picture with approximate dimensions as we wanted to order a chair for it but didn’t know how much space there would be for one from the description on Amazon. There are 3 shorter drawers that go across the top and 3 deeper drawers down the right side. The shorter drawers measure 12.75” x 13.125” x 2.625” high on the inside. The deeper drawers measure 12.75” x 13.125” x 4.25” high on the inside. The working surface of the vanity is 13” by 47.5” and has a glass overlay. The mirror is already attached to the top part, which was honestly a relief. As far as the materials go…it’s not the best quality, so you get what you pay for. The outside has a glossy sheen to it, which makes it look nicer than it is. I recommend replacing the drawer pulls as they are cheap white plastic and will likely not last long. The manufacturer stamped the numbers in terrible spots (see pics) as the numbers are still visible once it’s put together. I’m not sure if a magic eraser will remove them or if we are stuck staring at them forever. I’m worried about the magic eraser taking the finish off the particle board, so I haven’t tried yet. The only issue that came with it was a crack along one of the holes where the lights go through (see pic). Other than that, everything was in good condition. We ended up attaching the drawer slides to the bottom of the drawers instead of the sides because the screws wouldn’t go deep enough to provide a smooth slide. The drawer would catch when pushing in or pulling out. I have no idea the longevity of doing that as the raw particle board it’s screwed into on the bottom may not hold up long without splitting. It was a chance we had to take. There were also some issues with the board that splits the two shorter drawers on the left. It’s almost like it was made opposite of how it should have been. I was able to do it the right way and the drawers lined up well. There are twelve bulbs and you can have the light switch be on either the left or right side, depending on where your plug-in is. We used a 3M strip to attach it to the side so it would be within easy reach when sitting at the vanity. The separators that came with it should be able to be used in any of the drawers, but there is only one set. My kid is happy with the end result, so I’m happy.

this vanity took 2 teenage girls about 6 hours to build. make sure that all the pieces are organized & sorted out because it will speed up the process and make everything easier. instructions are pretty clear considering i understood them. the only thing we struggled with was making sure the drawers were straight but we fixed it and made it work. only one little piece came damaged but it isn’t visible so i don’t mind it. loved this vanity 100% worth it because the glass top vanity’s are wayyyy more expensive so finding one in such good condition for $300 is amazing. no bad things to say. all 3 packages arrived at the same time. also don’t mind the mess im still setting everything up 😭

First off , Let me be clear, THE MIRROR IN THE PICTURE I POSTED IS NOT THE MIRROR THAT COMES WITH THE CHEAP OVER SEAS VANITY. We opted for a nicer quality mirror and would recommend the COOLJEEN LARGE HOLLYWOOD VANITY MIRROR. ( as seen in the picture I posted) Back to the vanity, SO MANY SCREWS AND PARTS! Huge pain to assemble because of the Chinese instructions and 10,000 parts. You literally have to build every drawer and attach the drawer slides . My daughter and I spent 3 hours on this vanity assembly. While I definitely enjoyed my father daughter time, we both decided there has to be a better way to manufacture cheap vanities. Also the smell was pretty strong from the offgassing. I don’t know if that was from the paint or the wood or the glue or everything combined. Another important note that doesn’t show up clearly in the seller / manufacture pictures is that the string of lights literally have to be pressed on to the exterior of the mirror with a sticky back tape and the wires run from light to light on the front. The stock mirror is extremely janky looking. The mirror in the picture is not the mirror that comes with the vanity! At the end of the day, my daughter loves it but she’s not the one writing the review nor did she have to struggle with the orientation of the parts and deciphering the vague ridiculous instructions. Would not recommend if you value your time. At the end of the day it’s screw and cam and wood dowel modular particleboard assembly. Just like The cheap particleboard modular systems that came out 40 years ago and ruined the solid hardwood furniture industry.

I had this vanity for about 2 months now and the problem I had with this vanity is the LED light keep randomly turning off on its own. It very annoying when you trying to get ready and it keep turning off. The packages came in 2 boxes. The mirror came in damaged (it had a big crack on the side) Took about 7 hours to assembled and the instructions wasn’t the easiest and clearest to followed. Overall, not the most sturdy and you get what you paid for.
