I don’t have anyone that would be willing to spend a outrageous amount of time to put together a vanity with me so I built this myself it will take some muscle and a lot of willpower bear with me. So for starters the directions are near useless I’m not going to lie to you a lot of it was improvising there is a barcode on the directions which you might be able to get help by contacting the manufacturer. The numbers which are pictured are very light and hard to see each piece of wood does not have a number at least mine did not there were a couple of pieces that did not have numbers and I kind of had to assemble everything else before realizing where they went you will need a screwdriver but for the most part you will be using a Allen wrench which is provided. The lights are press on lights which I thought would bother me but they don’t. The lights have a dimming option as well as two warmer shades you can switch to. As far as placement you want to put three lights on one side for lights on the top and three lights on the other side the ones that go across the bottom you should be able to figure out relatively easily. The lights come with a USB and not a wall plug-in so you will need to get a wall adapter. The drawers that are horizontal at the top are smaller than the ones that are on the side which are the four larger drawers. I did end up with a few knickknacks left in the pack of nails because they were not in the directions whatsoever I’m not harping on that since the vanity overall feels pretty sturdy be advise it is not real wood it is press board and if you are too rough with it it will snap or crumble which is super annoying. The glass that sits on the top does give you a wonderful view of the things that are in the top drawer be mindful also there is a little bit of gaps space so If your like me and you like to lean your arm on that glass try not to slide that glass back-and-forth because you will pinch your skin. The mirror has a beautiful even image sometimes I find that mirrors that have been shipped have a little bit of distortion just from bending in the shipping a little bit but the mirror overall is awesome. As far as assembly time doing it solo I took from 10 P.m. to 1 AM which allowed me the time to assemble everything except for the drawers which took me another 2 1/2 hours. Overall putting this vanity together was excruciatingly frustrating bearing in mind however I did put this together by myself the finished product is wonderful as far as product price point i’ve seen people selling similar vanities for 699 so I do feel like you’re still getting a good bit for your money. If you start feeling like throwing the entire thing in the garbage you’re probably close to finishing the entire thing so hang in there grab a Capri Sun or a vodka spritz and take a break. We purchased this vanity as a Christmas gift for my 17 year old daughter. It was delivered in three different boxes and A LOT of pieces. I truly don't mind putting things together but the instructions are not very easy to follow and several of the holes are not pre-drilled. The material is not made of actual wood so I was worried that drilling the holes would split the material. Thankfully that didn't happen. 1st off want to say wow . It’s very beautiful. And to start off I would like to say the material ain’t real wood so you do have to be very gentle but it is very sturdy enough and you get what you paid for . Your vanity will come out great if you know how to read instructions and you have the time and patience for it . 2nd I myself thought these lights had options to dim the lights but no love , it don’t it only has one light setting . So keep in mind also for me not a big deal the lighting is very beautiful and mostly used . 3rd it does not come with a chair but I would wait to get one so you can see the length of a chair you need and want . 4th I’m in like awww of this vanity like the aesthetic of it and how fancy and classy it looks . It’s great for the price especially if it’s your 1st vanity . 5th my packages came in separate 1 at a time but I think it depends your location and how they work . If you’re curious you will get 2 big boxes and the 3rd one will be small which will be the light bulbs and nobs if you get the crystal looking kind . 6th nothing was broken or damaged so that’s a plus on my end 7th one more thing it has the adhesive stickers to cover the parts where you can see the screws but I also used it to cover the numbers on the drawers which that’s a plus so your welcome 😁 for that lil touch lol . I was nervous about getting this since it was over $200 and didn’t want it to be a crappy buy. But I love this! I’ve had zero issues, great storage- it has power plugs and usb port. The media could not be loaded. Pros: This desk is absolutely gorgeous and it shines my whole room up. Definitely the icing on the cake to my bedroom redecoration.
