I bought the variable speed pump and on low it runs about 315 watts at 125 volts so it definitely saves on the electricity bill vs my old one speed pump not sure on the longevity of the pump yet but it seems to be decent so far for the money

Overall a good pump. Good self priming and low noise level. Unfortunately the low speed would not draw enough vacuum off the pool skimmers to create a flow. It would simply spin with no water circulation. I have a 33k ga 20x40 pool. Just wasn’t hefty enough.

I think the horsepower rating is not as strong as stated. Had to replace all return jets with smaller orfice openings to get slide water to work even though this was stated as higher HP than the one i was replacing . My next concern will be when i open pool next year and see if it will pick up the water and get it circulating. Nowhere as STRONG as the pump i replaced kinda well just disappointed in it if it wont pick up the water in the springtime and get it circulating i will be extremely disappointed at that point it will have been a waste of Money

This pump was really quiet and worked great for a few weeks. Then it got louder and started to wine and became a bit too noisy for my taste. Also, the slow cycle was so slow it was pretty much useless, let alone doing anything worth its while to even be running.

I used this pump to replace my old 0.75hp pump that unfortunately died. My plan was to use this exclusively in low-power mode since I don't need much power, and it's surprisingly hard to find a (one-speed) 0.75hp pool pump that runs on 230V. On low mode, it barely moves any water. On high-power mode, it works okay, but moves less water than the old 0.75hp motor despite being nominally 2.5x the power. It's good enough to not go through the hassle of replacing again, but I'm not particularly happy with it.

EASY TO WIRE 220v MOTOR. THEDIAGRAM WAS DARK AND EASY TO READ. iT DID NOT COME WITHE THE WIRE CABLE AS INDICATER WHEN I READ ABOUT THE PUMP. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN. QUALITY PRODUCT.
