Amazing! Our white puppy kept getting a “rash” between his legs that our vet thought might be yeast, but the medicine didn’t help. Used Blue Butter for less than a week and it’s completely gone!!! This time he had it on both sides, and now his skin is totally cleared up, no red/pink dry skin at all! He doesn’t lick at it, since I don’t think he likes the menthol smell. It also absorbs quickly, so even if they do lick, just keeping them away from the spot for a few minutes should do the trick. Great product and highly recommended for hot spots or dry skin. We tried coconut oil, but that didn’t help at all. If you’re at your wits end trying to figure it out, give this a try!!!

My GSD had a hot spot that had to be ablated and it had difficulty healing as she would pick off the scab whenever she was left alone and became anxious. After reading about a lot of things here, we chose this and are very pleased. Within a week of dabbing it in with a q-tip, it was healed small enough that she no longer bothered it so I believe it also must have also soothed the area. Would love if it had a pump dispersion type top to aid in not contaminating the rest but we just had to be cognizant of not double dipping fingers or applicator. Certainly recommend.

Wow this product is fantastic . Our 7 year old Bernadoodle was fetching on turf and ends up with significant paw burns where he couldn’t put his foot down for 2 days . We learned about blue butter and used it 4-5 times a day and it is truly amazing . His paw pad was healed and he was back running around within 2 days . It is easy to use , no mess, and he didn’t lick it off . He allowed us to touch his paw and knew it felt good . Excellent excellent product . Sent it to my son as his dog lives on the beach and know this will help when he gets scratched . Thank you Blue Butter -your product is excellent !!!!!So relieved he is healed .

It’s got a really strong scent and after you use it, it takes a while to scrub it off your hands. It’s not too intense. I don’t want to scare you. It says it’s nontoxic and my dog has not got sick from using it. It’s really thick goes on like a gel .I got it because he keeps scratching and itching. I’ve been giving him allergy meds and allergy treats and nothing seems to work so I got this. But for my issue, this isn’t working either. It helps for a little while, but I have to keep reapplying it so I’m not sure at the price point. I don’t think I’ll buy again, but I’m sure it’s good for a hotspots if that’s what you have the need for I only rated it at the way I did because he’s still itching like crazy.

My dashhound gor a rash from being diaper during breading season and this product worked in 2 days and covers a range of issues so I will continue to use it if need be and i would purchase this product again.little tip,I did put a wrap over the area to insure the product didn't get wiped away to fast.good luck with what ever you might be looking at this product for.

This stuff is BLUE BUTTER MAGIC!!!! Our dog has had a spot on his head ever since he was a puppy...he is now 5 years-old. The vet always told us it was nothing to worry about and just to keep an eye on it. One day, while both of our dogs were playing outside the bump was scratched causing a lot of bleeding! Our one dog is white, and when he came back inside he had blood ALL OVER HIM! I couldn't believe it!! A few seconds later, the other dog came in and he too had blood all over him. We were freaking out! We had no idea where the blood was coming from or which dog. Finally we found the source of it and called the vet immediately. They wanted to do surgery to cut it out and stop the bleeding but it was going to cost us thousands of dollars to do and he would have to go to a clinic 4 hours from us. We begged for another option and the vet recommended this stuff. He was able to get the bleeding to stop and told us to order this cream ASAP. The following day it arrived and we applied it to the area. I was afraid it was going to hurt him, but thankfully, he didn't mind it at all!! The only thing he didn't like was the smell of it. It has a menthol scent to it but after a few minutes the smell went away and he was fine. Within less than 2 weeks, the spot was healed! Even his hair grew back. There still remains a SMALL bump but compared to what it looked like before, it was a nigh and day difference! We still have plenty of cream left over. It doesn't take much at all! I can't say enough how thankful we are to have been recommended such an amazing product! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

This stuff is amazing. My 12 yo border collie has had a lick granuloma on his back leg for over a year. The constant licking was absolutely driving me up the wall. And no matter how many times I would dress the wound it would either slip or he would get to it again. I’ve even gotten it completely healed about 5 or 6 times but then he will lick one time and it’s back to obsessing again. I finally found this gel to see if it would help reduce the urge to lick. I then paired this with a really strong butter spray (Rocco & Roxie No Chew). I could put the two items on and he wouldn’t lick for almost a week before I would catch him and have to reapply. I was able to use these and completely abandon putting dressings on because the bitter spray was so strong. It took about a month but I was finally able to stop using both products on that area. He has now not licked that area in almost 4 months. The hair even grew back and he’s much happier.
