This suit is very nice. I ordered the XL and it was plenty big which allowed for easy squatting. I think you would really want to have the bagginess rather than a tight fit, especially if could get stung if the cloth is right against your skin. Very secure, no openings for insects to get through, the zippers worked well, thick cloth, even though I put a Tyvek coverall on over top because I was mixing the poison in a sprayer and ended up getting it on myself and this suit is not impervious to liquids. This bee suit is very well made and will provide great protection. For reference, my husband is 6' 1", 185 lbs, size 34 waist and ordered a Large. He has plenty of room, it's honestly a little big, but if he went down a size it would not fit in the torso. The description said something about this being ventilated, which we don't see, unless they meant the head part, but either way we're pleased with the purchase. ... show more

Im 6'2" and 245lbs with a little disproportionate in the stomach area. I Ordered the 2xl after reading the comments and boy was in pleasantly surprised how it fit. Its fits very well and the suit is very thick ,I cant imagine getting stung through this suit. Not sure if its gonna be uncomfortable in the summer but ill just wear shorts under it ... show more

The suit is good at keeping bees out. I haven’t gotten any stings yet (got bees in May); however, I got the smallest size and it’s still absurdly huge. I’m 5’1” with a slender frame so if you’re bigger, it may fit well. The veil is OK. It’s fairly easy to see out but it does touch my face in some places at times. If you have aggressive bees, they would be able to sting through where it touches your face. Not super breathable, be prepared to get hot. ... show more

Not a beekeeper, but I’m terrified of bugs after several bad experiences. I play about an hour of fetch with my high-energy dog in the evening before bedtime, and that’s made more difficult in the summer with the abundance of insects (moths, spiders, beetles, etc) where I live. I joked about buying this for at least a year before taking the plunge after facing off with a 3inch long cicada killer wasp in my backyard. This suit is great so far. It’s breathable and it keeps bugs from touching me directly or flying into openings in my clothes. I got the large based on my weight & reviews saying it ran small. I’m 5’5” and hover between 185-190lbs, and the large is way too big on me. I think I feasibly could have gone down to a small based on how big the large is, but definitely a medium. Other reviews said that XLs were a little tight at 190lbs so I think height is way more important than weight when considering your size. ... show more
