It's important to note that we live near Houston, Texas. The Honey Bees tend to be of a "spicier" temperament here in Texas. A thicker, well fitting glove is a MUST when working with the bees here. I've tried many different brands and types of gloves. These Humble Bee gloves are an absolute MUST HAVE! The cowhide is thick enough to protect my hands from being stung and the fit is incredible. Goat skin gloves allow the stingers to go through the gloves whereas the cowhide stops them. The fit of the glove is amazing. It's important to have the dexterity to handle the tools, bee frames, catch queen bees, etc, without extra material from ill fitting gloves in the way. It's definitely the attention to detail that goes into the making of these gloves that makes them amazing. They are worth every penny!! My husband and I have been beekeeping ,and doing bee removals for people, for about 6 years now. We both have full time jobs and do beekeeping simply for the love of the bees. If you work with "spicy" bees and want/need a quality glove, look no further. I'll try to add pictures of me working the hives with these gloves. Comfort-wise, they do feel a bit stiff at first, which is normal for cowhide gloves, but they tend to soften with use. Grip is solid for general hive tasks, though fine finger dexterity is somewhat limited compared to thinner gloves.

These gloves are perfect for my use (moving large amounts of brush when cutting down Cedar trees, scrub trees, etc. The hands fit well and are thick enough that sharp branches don't gouge or penetrate. The arms are also pretty thick, too, but are more than flexible enough for any movements I need to make. The elastic at the top holds well without cutting off the circulation to my arms.
