Haven’t had them long enough to test longevity but I try not to be hard on beekeeping anything. So hope they last. I’m an average size male and got the extra large and feel they fit just about right. I have a large set as well that I passed to my kids because I thought the large was a smidge too small. These are probably a smidge too big but I prefer that. These are excellent quality, was easy to slip on, fit perfectly on my small hands and fingers ( I got a size Small), allowing me to work with them; with my last gloves from a different manufacturer, the Small were to long in the fingers, and XS that I ended up with was a little tight to slip into so I was always worried they would rip). These gloves seem to be good quality, the goat skin is soft, and they fit, well, like a glove. The elastics that go up on your forearms are super tight, though. Longevity: I have used a small pair for years, and will be replacing my old pair eventually. My old gloves finally sprouted a huge hole on one thumb that so brittle and ragged that I decided not to duct tape the hole, so I had to replace them. This pair doesn't fit as snugly as the old pair, so they may run a tad large, and the leather is thicker, so isn't as pliable as before, but they will probably last longer. Overall, easy to use, very functional, should hold up well and is a very good value, so I'll stop pining for my old gloves and move on. The bees themselves probably don't like them because they can't sting when I pop the lid to feed them, but this is also the most aggressive colony I've ever had - stout gloves and a good suit are absolutely necessary for the health of the hive and my personal well-being. ... show more

These gloves are better made than the pair I've been using for years. They are somewhat thicker but still are very soft and flexible. They also are longer than some others to give extra protection to the arms. Glad I found these.
