I really liked this at first. It worked well with my vitamix base and the blades seemed sharp. But I have barely used it a month and the bottom is badly rusting. I even take time to meticulously dry the base each time I use it. But it still is rusting.

Good thing I didn't throw away the original one before I received this one! The black part of the lid is just plastic, not the same rubber feeling and slight stretch as the original, and it didn't fit! No problem tho. the original lid fit the replacement jar just fine.

If you have one of these fine blenders you may need an extra pitcher/lid instead of using the single one over and over. If you have one and your pitcher is worn or cracked this will replace it. The pitcher and lid looks indistinguishable from the original (except the original is worn). The blade gear meshes up perfectly and the blades work as they should. ... show more

Bought this product in May 2024 and by the 1st week in June it was broken. The base has come away from the container and the liquids seep out onto my machine. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This product was not cheap.
