Works great. Until now I only cut green living wood and blade lasted a long time. However, dry hard wood dulls blade relatively quickly and required sharpening touch-up or REPLACING. Kit works fine. Chain needs 15/min work every 2 hours instead of 2 days. Beats replacing chain. Also look for pre-hardened longer lasting chains just like knives.

Seems like a nice quality tool and convenient to have. Don't like the idea of having to rely on electricity to sharpen plus will have it out in the field with me doing homeowner hobby cutting. Will be doing my fair share of cutting and milling though so want my blades sharp. Bought this and seems very nice for the money. Seems sturdy and reliable not cheap and light and fragile . Everything seems to line up ok for my Stihl ms311 from what I can tell. Brand new chain so haven't sharpened it yet but sure I will soon . Pleased I purchased this came quick . Quality part fast shipping that is rare these days for online shopping got a 5 star from me π€make sure you use 30* marks on tool or case and sharpen one side at a time. Does the rakes ( depth gauge ) while you sharpen blades . I like it sturdy , efficient descent price . Keep up the good work. Posted couple of pics hope it helps directions weren't in English that I noticed anyways lol. Sharpen pushing file away from you. Best results of you can put your saw in a vice and hold file level with blad at at 30 pitch to sharpen assuming you purchased the Stihl compatible file that is. Good luck happy cutting π

This sharpener comes with 5/32β files which is for 3/8β PICCO and not full 3/8β which requires 13/64β files. Fortunately, I needed both sharpeners. Itβs not clear if I can just replace the files or if I need a different sharpener altogether for the full 3/8β. It is not made clear in the description.

I bought this chain sharpener to use with one of my chainsaws. It has thecorrect dimensions for pitch etc for this saw. It is very easy to use and sharpens the teeth well. It makes sharpening easier and faster. I have another one that fits my other Sam's chain specification. The money for this is well worth it, as it is a time saver. It is well built.
