Like most customers, my saw needed to upgrade the chain tensioner, which was obvious right out of the box. I’m not removing a star because I knew this would be a problem before I purchased the saw. After replacing it with a Stihl tensioner, I was able to get a full day’s worth of work completed with no issues. Paired with a lightweight 32 inch bar, this saw performed exactly as I had hoped. Had this saw for 8 months now and have cut about 100’ of 33”+ oak and poplar. The saw is good. Make sure you lock tite all nuts before you run the saw. I lost a dog day 1 and had a few bolts rattle loose. If you’re running over a 24” bar swap the oiler to a high flow from the get go. Other than that the saw is a beast. ... show more

Not a bunch to say yet. Just finished second tank on break in. Once I got this saw started, it wants to run. After initial start up she fires first or second pull. Got a good tune in her with 25:1 but she's a runner! Beast really! Will check back after a few days in the mill.

    • Faulty tentioner.. It would be a great saw if I could tention the chain
I would give this saw 5 stars all day long except for the tentioner is crap. It's almost impossible to tention the chain

    • Best budget friendly BIG chainsaw you can buy.
Buy it, you won't be disappointed. It matches or exceeds my other big, way more expensive saws. I process more wood in a year than most do in a lifetime and if I was starting over, I would buy these in place of any of my other saws. I often run a 36" bar with zero issues.

Pretty decent chainsaw if you know how to tinker. I read the reviews and found that the chain tensioner was notorious for having issues. My saw had the chain tensioner issue, but it was a quick 20 minute fix. I also had to tune the saw for my elevation. Overall, this is a pretty decent saw for what you pay. I have cut around 10 cords of wood with my saw and haven't had any issues after I fixed the chain tensioner. I ran a Husqvarna 385 for several years and I would put MY saw in that range of performance. ... show more
