I've been cutting wood for 30 years so I am comfy with a chainsaw. Always had Stihls and used a variety of other saws from friends. This thing is a beast - it did NOT run out of the box. Wouldn't even start - it needed tuned right away. Caps are absolutely terrible - but if I have had luck getting them to seal pretty good. Bar and chain are "ok"... My first upgrades are going to be a good bar and chain and new oil/gas caps BUT for a 36" saw this thing is an absolute beast for the price. IT RUNS GREAT once you tune it correctly. Good to have a cheap tach. Came back to add that the quality of the saw parts is NOT that of OEM 660. It is a cheap knock off - but it has it where it counts. The chain tensioner is absolute garbage - but I can deal with that.

Basically amazing. I have been using an MS291 and a CS-590 for several years. For the money, this machine is 3x as good for approx the same price. The build quality is decent, except for maybe the oil/fuel filler caps. 8/10. Right out of the box, it started on the third pull. I ran it for the first gallon or so of fuel with extra oil in the fuel. Starts every time on the second pull. My MS291 always takes 7 pulls. The CS-590 doesn't start. This thing cuts at least twice as fast as any of the others. I will probably need to adjust the carb, but no big deal. This is a heavy saw. Possible weak spots are the chain tension ... it feels like the machining is not super accurate. Also the metal on the bar nuts is not up to the OEM quality. Who cares? I don't make my living with this. I use it for a couple of hours a month to fell or buck or rip material too large for my other "rancher" type saws. We will see about the longevity. I suspect it will last. Being able to use/re-use 066 parts is a huge benefit. Also, the chain and bar were surprisingly good out of the box. Especially the chain. Near OEM quality. The bar might be slightly softer and wear slightly more than OEM...not sure. Lastly, the oiler migh be a little tough to adjust...but it seems to work and nothing is burning up or wearing out fast. All in all, this is a vastly better deal for my uses than a comparable stihl. Very impressive.

Saw needs to be adjusted slightly out of the box but once it was tuned and started , it rips! I have the 42 inch bar and this thing cuts through Oak and Hickory logs that are over 24 inches wide no problem . Turn the oiler up and make sure that you use winter oil so you dont burn out the bar but so far so good . Read the break in directions and follow accordingly! This saw is definitely a badass saw especially for the price point

I needed a small saw for limbing and small trees. Lugging out my Husqvarna 450 for little trees was getting to be a chore. This little guy is the best! It is a clone of an echo 3510 at a fraction of the cost. I'm sure it isnt as well built as the Echo that costs close to $600 but the parts are interchangeable and very available. I have zero complaints! starts up like a champ and has enough power to take down a tree. It is now my go to saw for anything smaller than my leg.

Saw arrived damaged--the corner was broken off of the clutch cover, and the end of the in-tank fuel line was split with the filter rolling around inside. I asked the seller to provide replacement parts, and they argued with me for 3 weeks--first trying to get me to accept a small refund, second trying to get me to pay more money to buy a clutch cover from them that had a different (non-carbon fiber) finish, and finally over a week full of delays over Chinese New Year. As of this review **3 weeks after receipt**, the seller will not provide a tracking number for the parts and keeps saying a supervisor will need to be contacted and to check back in a couple days. If you buy this, realize you're on your own. That being said, it's a powerful saw for a fraction of the cost of the similar name-brand saw it's based on. However, it runs EXTREMELY rich from the factory, and the carb will need to be adjusted after it's broken in. I've been using it to learn how to cut slabs on an Alaskan sawmill, and with the factory carb settings, it takes over 2 tanks of fuel to get through a single 2'x6' cherry or oak slab with a brand new chain. Know what you're buying: if you're not mechanically inclined, this is not the saw for you.

After only five hours use on my chainsaw mill saw quit midstream and was unable to restart. Compression tested 30-50 psi. Break in period was done with 35:1 to 40:1 gas mix. Have checked air clearer, head bolts, pressure release valve and all appeared to be good. Engine turns over, spark is good but saw still does not start. Taking to a saw mill repair shop to see if it can be saved. Stay tuned! 3/18/24 update: have been working with seller since 2/26/24 to resolve this issue as saw is still under their 6 month warranty - "All of our Machines come with a 6 month replacement motor part with no additional cost." will update on how this resolves. 4/26/24 Wanted to update my review. The seller honored their warranty and did replace the problematic chain saw power head with a new one. Together we tried to trouble shoot the issues but the original saw still had starting problems. The new saw has just been put through it's paces, after 5 full tanks of gas to break the saw in, it is going strong. Appreciate an Amazon seller that stands by their warranty and product!

So fare so good, cut about 10 slabs of maple now using my chainsaw mill. (I bought a ripping chain so I don’t know about the chain that came with it). I will say this chainsaw runs through a tank of gas very very fast, but it works beautifully and starts so easily! These only thing I hate is the chainsaw scabbard they send with a 36 inch chainsaw is only 12 inches long!! I don’t know why they do that! I have bought some leather and I will make my own 36” leather bar scabbard to protect the entire chain and bar and not just the tip.

Great saw while it lasted it stopped working right after 2 uses it needs a new carb very solid design I might have just gotten a faulty one.
