“Poor quality replacement. Feels like cheap Chinese copy. The blades are not sharp, the axle sits loose in the shaft, and it already feels unstable. It’s only a matter of time before food or liquid leaks through the bottom and mixes with the motor area. Would not recommend.”

The media could not be loaded. I read some of the poor reviews this had but I bought it anyways because of the price difference compared to the manufacturer. The 7 Fin blade on Amazon is about $15.00 with free shipping, The manufacturer wants almost $40.00 with shipping. I’ve had this Ninja for at least two years but it wasn’t until recently I started using it twice a day when I discovered what a Smoothie is. Where have smoothies been all my life. . Straw berries, bananas, frozen yogurt and orange juice all blended together. So easy. As you can tell in the video, about wore my blender and the blade out. It makes so much more noise now, I have to keep it in the laundry room away from the other rooms in the house. I might have to move it in my garage. This blade came with a gasket so I tried to use it but the blade will not fit over my cup, so I didn’t use it. I was expecting it to leak, but it didn’t. It works great. I guess I’ll see as time goes by. So far, I can’t complain, it does what it’s suppose to with no leaks. I couldn’t be happier. As for cleaning, I just run hot water over the blade after each use. The other blade I washed and black grease started leaking out from under the fins, now it’s noisy and kinda loose. ... show more
