Got because of the pretty color. It does not work for dehydrating herbs from my garden. The onions I tried to dehydrate for onion powder rotted on the tray because it’s so slow to dehydrate. I understand that it’s for weed and might do better for that but 😩 pretty color though.

UPDATE: Was contacted by seller and received a second unit after I returned the defective unit, 100% free. New unit works great and dries very quickly. Not as quick as the more expensive dehydrators out there, but dries evenly and gets the job done. Only gripe is that the trays feel cheap, and the holes have almost too much space. Worth the $$$ Set it on a flat surface and left it on for 6 hours. Heard a loud noise that sounded like the internal fan caught on something and came back to see all of the plastic trays melted. Waste of time and money ... show more

I bought this food dehydrator to play around with making some dried fruits at home. I am amazed by this product. It is super easy to setup and make what you want. I was able to cut my fruits and get them to where I wanted in no time. This is going to allow me to make more food items in the future!
