This is a great idea and it was super simple to setup and stake into the ground. It has stakes on the end of each arch with little bends before the stake that you can step on with your foot to secure the stake. It probably took ten minutes to put up and get all the other stakes down to hold the netting against the ground. If you use the extra staple stakes then it very safe for the chickens and there’s no way they’d escape. It’s decent quality, the netting is a sort of strong plastic fibers weaved together. Like what twin is made of. Once all the stakes are secure, moving it is not very simple, it does come with a stake puller which helps but it’s still time consuming. But if you want it temporary you don’t need to place all the stakes. My one complaint is that the picture makes it seem like it could hold 30 chickens and realistically it’s probably closer to 3-4. My image shows a baby polish in there so it’s about the third the size of a regular chicken.

I am really disappointed in this as I thought the set up/assembly would be easy like an unfold it and go but you have to stake up every section and it didn’t really work at all for my chickens. Not sure I can return it since it’s opened, nothing is damaged on it.

The "pop-up" design made installation incredibly easy -- thankfully. It essentially unfolds itself, and the included ground stakes keep it secure even when the birds get a little rowdy. The mesh is surprisingly strong. It’s held up well against scratching and pecking, and the green color blends in beautifully with the grass so it isn't an eyesore. Because it’s foldable, I can move it to fresh patches of grass every few days. This keeps the birds happy and prevents them from completely tearing up one specific spot in the yard.

Okay - what this is - a habitrail for chickens. This chicken tunnel is supposed to fill a need for chickens to "free range" but do it safely. It does have several uses - you could prevent them from crossing the road (why?). You can keep them in one area and they won't wander off. We have dogs that occasionally wander near the chickens and for whatever reasons the chickens sound the alarm and scatter. This helps prevent that. This may be better for smaller chickens (silkies) or maybe chicks? Full grown laying hens and/or a rooster in a tunnel 13ft long and 2 1/2 feet tall but only 2 feet wide seems crowded. Definitely a short term solution to move/herd chickens from point A to point B, the construction is durable and will survive chickens and moving it around. It does open and set up easily and if you don't stake it down it's very easy to move. The price point is a bit high for what it is and the effectiveness. I think a larger predator would have no trouble getting under/in the tunnel (fox, raccoon) and of course if a snake wanted to get pecked I suppose it could be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Would protect from flying predators for sure. But-here's something, an alternative use-we have a house cat that we put in the tunnel. Adapting her to being outside, she can't go catch birds (or them catch her). Might also work for a small puppy or dog, be outside while working in the yard, off leash but nearby.
