This one toy kept about twelve people ages 6 to 65 entertained for a good two hours one Christmas Day. It was so much fun! Easy to use (once you get the knack) super durable (even with a small-ish dog trying and occasionally succeeding to snatch it out of the air) and just very entertaining. So I bought this Orb for my middle son's 9th birthday. I have three children ages 12,9, &8. I didn't think they would take such an interest in it as they did. Even my husband and I can't seem to let just the kids play with this. It is not just a toy either. It's an excellent exercise for all who play. You have to run/jump/catch it throughout. It has gotten us all up and out of the house or inside the house playing together! It is suuuuuuper lightweight and because of that, we can play with it inside when it's really windy or raining outside without worrying it's going to knock over objects or damage walls/electronics. Of course, if you are playing outside because it is so lightweight it can be taken away a little by the wind. Another great feature is when it drops on the ground/hits multiple objects it turns off so it's not like constantly flying/rolling away from you. It's easy to turn on and off and charge. The only drawback is battery life but even with that being said it still lasts a good bit of time and charges fairly quickly. It is TOTALLY WORTH IT! This item is all-around fun for all ages and it's a little hard to figure out how to get it to do the tricks but I think once we get the hang of it it will be super easy. I found this item to not perform as the video showed it to. And they fail to tell the customer that the play time is less than 10 minutes before it needs to be recharged. And you better have tiny fingers if you want to turn it on and off because the controls are hard to access. Unique idea, but product doesn’t live up to what is advertised. ... show more

It is pretty cool and depending on the angle you throw it, it can come back to you or do other type tricks.     • A LOT of Fun for the Money!

I brought this item to have some fun, get a bit of exercise and, hopefully, improve hand/eye coordination. The ball as proven to satisfy all these wants. Until you get the hang of it, you will find yourself running all over the place trying to catch a manic ball bouncing in all directions. Fortunately, although the ball is very light, it appears to be very sturdy. Since the ball is so light, it has not knocked anything over indoors nor has it marred any of the walls. Outdoors, it will give you a run for your money :) Fortunately, the ball automatically stops trying to "fly" after hitting too many obstacles. A few drawbacks include: battery charge does not last very long, only about 15 mins, but it does recharge quickly; the positioning of the switch makes the ball difficult to turn ON/OFF (and to insert the charging cord); an outdoor breeze will make the ball difficult to control. ALL in ALL, it's lots of fun and I would recommend this for adults and kids alike (just keep it away from pets)! ... show more
