This contract paper was super easy to work with and looks amazing installed. I used it on a garden window above our kitchen sink that had a painted white shelf/sill. The paint always looked dull and dirty from the plants, plant soil, the water, and dust build up - the window isn’t easy to reach or clean and the paint had to be seriously scrubbed to even look mildly less dirty. This contact paper has a great wood tone that hides some of the dust and dirt that occur around plants between cleanings. It has held up nicely so far to water and wipes up easily. I can actually just dust in there now without having to take everything out and climb up and scrub the window out just to get the dust off the paint. On top of that, it actually likes realistic. I lined up the two pieces I used to cover the space and the seams aren’t noticeable if you aren’t looking closely. I had plenty left to update a serving tray we use as well and have been looking for another project as I’ve still got most of a roll left. Installation was easy. It was thick enough I was able to lay it out and remove the backing without accidentally tearing it or creasing it so badly it wouldn’t lay flat. I was able to press bubbles out with a plastic scraper without tearing it as well. These are all problems I’ve encountered with contact paper in the past ... show more

FUN STICK Thick Butcher Block -Brown Took this project on. Extremely easy to cut with the guide printed on back and easy to pull up to correct. I also purchased wall paper tools to smooth out air bubbles. Purchased more than I needed, just in case of redo and well worth it! It adheres extremely well. The color is a rich brown, I was initially uncertain but I absolutely love it. I have had no issues with wrinkles or rips. I have an older home with metal cabinets and the counter tops are at least 70 years old. A beautiful DIY on a budget! I have received compliments. Again, I purchased more than needed knowing the age of my counter tops and some areas were not as smooth, reading other reviews I wasn’t certain if this product would cover and adhere properly. Others have shown more smooth surfaces versus what my poor counters have faced over the years. This was my first time doing a project like this and did it on my own. ... show more

Been a year and it still looks great. Application was definitely a learning curve but after some practice it got easier. I purchased the application kit and the ez spray but the spray made it more difficult so I wouldn’t recommend that. It does chip/cut easily and will get permanent marks from dragging something across it tho so be careful and always use a cutting board obviously. ... show more

This was super easy to lay down. It is pretty thick so it felt very durable. It sticks to the surface very tightly, but is able to be pulled up if you need to readjust without ripping paper. Very smooth and easy to wipe down. It looks exactly as pictured & is a great option to renovate a space!

It was difficult to install because it is too thin so it flops out of position and when you try to remove it, it is so brittle it cracks or stretches. I got it so it looks okay from a distance but I am disappointed with the finished product. There are bubbles that keep coming back even after using a pin. I have done a whole kitchen with a more expensive higher quality product and it looks great yet 3 years later. I should have spent the money. ... show more

used this on my counter tops and to make it more durable and long lasting, I did my research! #1 best tip I can give for any kind of peel and stick counter top, furniture covering, not wall peel and stick, but heavier duty ones is to apply as they do car tint on your windows. A small spray bottle of a little dish soap and water. Spray the area you plan to apply the peel & stick, spray the peel and stick (tacky side) as you peel away from backing. This prevents, creases, wrinkles, ends grabbing one another from the curl of being on the roll. This makes it much easier to work with and position with no bubbles as well! Use a plastic wide wall putty tool to push excess water out from underneath and let dry. If you want a hardened top, you can apply urethane over peel and stick with no issues. Recommended 6-8 coats. I used the one shown in pictures after researching all choices. It is durable enough already, but I have done an epoxy counter top before and wanted to do using this butcher block peel and stick, so I decided on self leveling epoxy, doing a thinker coat for more realistically finished look. I don’t want the shiny epoxy “glass look” in the end so I will use a 1500 grit sandpaper on my electric sander (not orbital) and lightly knock the shine off for a satin/mate finish! This product is of good quality, priced great and easy to work with and is a realistic simulated look. I highly recommend this peel & stick product. You can’t go wrong, even if you simply Apple it alone and be done with it! Very capable product of using alone! 10 stars! ... show more
