    • Awesome bench for the price.
This bench exceeded my expectations. It is without a doubt a great bench for any home gym. The bench was very easy to assemble. It has wheels to help with moving the bench around, but the bench is such a light weight bench, it is just as easy to lift the bench up to move it around. Don't let the light weight fool you though, this bench is very sturdy without a lot of wiggling to it when using the bench. It uses a lower grade steel than some of the steel the outrageously priced benches use, but even the heavy weight steel is overkill for the weight people use for gym benches. The vinyl covering on the pads isn't as durable as some of the higher end benches, but it does have some nice grippiness to it to prevent sliding around when using the bench. The padding is a 2" pad and it feels more than sufficient when doing heavy weight exercises. The pads are a nice width to provide good support when doing pressing exercises. The bench is roughly 17.5" off ground which is pretty common height for most flat benches. The lower pads on the leg attachment are adjustable, but only by unscrewing them from the leg attachment and moving the pole to a different slot. The pads on the leg attachment are foam pads that just slide onto the metal bars. However, the leg attachment itself connects to the bench quickly my using the connect knob located under the seat. I don't have a need for the adjustable feet that are built into the legs of the bench, but it's a nice feature to have for those floors that may need them. The pop pins used to adjust the angle of the pads is very smooth and makes adjusting the pads quite easy. The pads have a very narrow gap between them and really doesn't cause any problems or discomfort when sitting on the bench. The seat pad and the main bench pad can be adjusted to almost any angle without the pads impinging on one another. I can really use the bench without having to use the extra headrest pad that is included. The headrest pad has to be removed in order to stand the bench up on it's end. The bench is pretty sturdy when it is stood up on it's end and has a plastic molding to protect the bench when doing so. The only complaint I could even say about this bench is the packaging could be better cause some of the parts came with scratching and a bent part. I was able to straighten out the bent part and I used a black permanent marker to cover up the scratches. To get a well-built flat/incline/decline bench for this price point is an awesome deal.     • Sturdy Weight Bench
I think I'm going to really like this FLYBIRD FB3000 Weight Bench but take this review with a grain of salt because I'm really closer to a novice than an expert about gym equipment. By myself, it took a little under an hour to unbox and assemble. Assembly was straightforward. It comes with all of the necessary parts and tools, and the instructions are easy to follow. I wish the cushions were a little nicer. They don't feel high-end to me, but they're not uncomfortable and they'll work. At this price point (current list price is $249.99), they're probably what I'd expect to get. I didn't realize that the headrest has to be removed to fold the bench to wheel and store it. That's too bad, but the seller's pictures do show this and it's not a dealbreaker by any means. That said, the plastic caps on the base also feel cheap, but I don't think plastic caps are unusual for home gym equipment. Still, if you plan to move this bench in and out of a space, I'd expect those to be the first things to break (although, even if they do, I think it will likely only be cosmetic damage, and the bench should still work). Tonight, I used the bench in four different positions to do rotational chest flys, single dumbbell bench preacher curls, seated single overhead extensions, and dumbbell bench touch pulls. The bench is sturdy, with no wobbles. It's easy to reposition for different exercises, and it's easy to move and store. Overall, it was a good workout! Bench was fairly easy to assemble with or even with out the instruction manual. But the manual is very easy to follow with clear pictures. The bench did come missing one of the smaller screws that holds the back rest pad. It holds a total of 6 screws and one was missing so I left one of the middles ones out till I find a replacement screw. No Biggie really, but The rest pads are shipped with the secure screws already partially screwed in instead of in a separate bag. One of them must of screwed loose in transit or was never put it I don't know. Other than that everything arrived in great new wrapped condition and smelling new. The metal used it pretty solid and sturdy and sits flush and strong. There are some leveling sliders on the bottoms incase you need to adjust to flush ground due to uneven ground. The padding in itself is very comfortable and soft to sit and the same time sturdy to hold the weight well. Adjustment levers all around with numbered positions for precision angle. All levers are pop in and out locking pins, no tools needed. Price point is solid for this type of workout gym quality machine. Great addition to your home gym! Doesn't take up a lot of space and is easy to maneuver around with a handle and wheels attached. ... show more

Ordered this for my corner basement gym spot. Came well packaged/protected. Instructions were clear & installation was simple. 30 minutes once parts were out of box and organized. I’m happy with frame quality & bench material/cushion quality (a little on cheaper side for price point). Once together the bench is definitely sturdy. It is also very sharp looking design. Solid feeling adjustment for incline/decline locking into place and love how many different angles you can use! Moves decently with wheels. One complaint was the Allen wrench/allen bolt fit wasn’t great. It would cause an occasional slip/strip because fit wasn’t solid. I am happy overall with this bench and curious how durable it’ll be with regular usage. ... show more
