  • No issues
I’ve had this for awhile now. It hasn’t had any issues. It has the ports at the top for the thermocouple, also (didn’t come with thermocouple though). I like it that I can get a general temp with the laser and a more precise temp when I put on the thermocouple attachment.

  • Very nice device! Accurate with narrow focus.
This is a better unit than my previous unit, which was less than 1/2 the price. You get what you pay for: this is remarkably accurate with a narrow focus zone. You can adjust it for differences in emissivity very easily, which is the only way to get a proper reading for things like glass and reflective metals, etc. ... show more

  • Money well spent
This product performs as advertised and is easy to use. Thanks for some of the reviews by others and an added supplement by Fluke, the centigrade - fahrenheit switch location was made easy to find. I've used it on mobile A/C and heating systems and am very satisfied with it's performance and plan to use it on other systems. ... show more

  • IR Great... Velcro KTC Poor
Nice overall unit. The IR readings are fast and accurate. If that’s your primary use, you are good to go with this device. The included K Type Thermocouple (KTC) is, in a word, terrible. Capable of VERY inaccurate readings, you need to be super careful to wrap it super tight. Reading out temps on my boiler, for example, it wanted to tell me the hot water coming out of my boiler was 125 degrees...when the boiler temp read 180... and touching the pipe I can tell you it sure WAY more than 125. Repositioning and retightening the Velcro gave me readings, slowly, in the 170s, which maybe I can believe. If you’re buying this unit and you really need the KTC, up I would reconsider... and if you’re not sure what I’m saying is accurate, read the reviews of the Fluke Velcro KTC accessory here on Amazon. I gave up and spent the extra $160 on the pipe clamp KTC, which I can use with this unit and gets great reviews. It’s a darn shame Fluke would include such a crappy KTC. ... show more

  • Very Satisfied
I use this product as a tool for sales. I visit many different manufacturing operations involving high temperature bearings. The customer usually does not the actual temperature of bearings in operation. This tool has enabled me to acquire live temperature reading to assist the customer in bearings selection. This is an easy to use tool that has saved our customers thousands of dollars. ... show more
