Temperature range: -50°C to 1300°C ( -58°F to 2370°F) Battery: Usual 9V battery Included ''K''-thermocouples Resolution : 1°C or 1°F .Thermocouple Specifications: This Kiln Thermocouple includes: 1) A Ceramic Mounting Block. 2) 1m (3.3 ft) wire extension with a Flat Pin (Miniature) connector at the end. Its Flat Pin connector can be connected directly to Digital Thermometers. By removing its Flat Pin, it can also be connected to Temperature Controllers. It can measure VERY HIGH temperatures up to 2372 °F. This heavy duty 11 gauge comes in 7.5 inch length. The length of this thermocouple is measured by the number of 1 inch long ceramics. Some extra length is added for connections. You can adjust the length of this thermocouple by bending the probe/thread at installation. Great pyrometer. Great price. I have been using a very large, very old pyrometer since the late 1980's that finally gave up the ghost, and that cost a fortune when it was new. I can move this around the studio and use it on my various kilns. Very pleased with this.

Basically works great. Found one for much cheeper somewhere else. The wires are very delicate and shorted easy. Had to re wire myself, also very easy. Works great, very accurate.

Item in this picture does not match the one I received. The directions in English are horrible. The English imprinted on the back of the device are misspelled. I hope it works. Have not even tested it yet.

the first time i used this pyrometer the plastic connection between the probe and the cord melted. not a good design
