This solved a longstanding problem for me and it looks great! Color is a little off from what I was expecting, but it was so easy to cut and install, that I can live with the color. As you can see in the pic, it is transitioning laminate flooring to tile. Sticks to both perfectly! I've had it installed for a couple of months now and no issue whatsoever. For the convenience, look and very reasonable price, I couldn't be happier! Great product!

Works very well. Easy to install. Helps my elderly mom transition easily from the kitchen to the living room with her walker. Makes it a smooth transition from kitchen linoleum to living room carpet. She struggled getting the walker over the little bump, but now it's easy peasy! And it doesn't look bad either. The brown color blends nicely on both sides for us.

Floor Transition Strip Self Adhesive Vinyl Door Threshold

Per some other reviews. First I reverse rolled it up for an hour or so, then I measured and cut it. Next I laid it in the doorway where it would be placed and left it there for over 24 hours. The I removed it and wiped the floor with ethyl alcohol as a cleaner. Finally I taped it down by pulling the adhesive covering off a little bit at a time as I worked to stick it on starting at one end and working my way to the other pulling each strip back a the roughly same length as I stuck it down. It doesn't especially look like wood but it did cover the gap sufficiently. Color is a fair match. Grain not so much. You can see the indentation where it is s depressed a little in the gap an also where it stuck slightly not as straight as I hoped ( I was concerned not to pull it off and do better since the adhesive is listed as "one time use." It appears quite well stuck to the flooring but I can't say how long that will last. I guess if it eventually comes up I would use some contruction adhesive to reglue it. But for now based on price and amount of effort to install it solves the problem adequately. Satisfied with purchase

Better than I expected

After my son broke his toe (literally) on a metal transition plate between kitchen and dining room, I decided to get this product. To be honest, I really didn't have very high hopes of this working well. Partly because the transition between the rooms is so uneven, about an inch or more. This was the tallest one I could find and it still wasn't as high as it should be. In spite of that, it still worked. Installation was simple, cutting it was easy but difficult to get a perfect straight line because of the adhesive but I expected that. After removing the metal plate, vacuuming well and cleaning both surfaces with alcohol, it took about 15 minutes. It took me longer to get the old metal plate off. Adhesive seems strong, we will see how well it hold up.

Seems ok enough. Put this in the doorway to the little room with my water heater and furnace in it. It's not quite tall enough to cover the actual gap of how tall the flooring is, but it's still the tallest one I found so far. Seems to do the job good enough although of some areas don't seem like they want to stick.

If you need to but more than one piece together the color is probably not going to match

This actually is a really great product, unless you need to cover a long space and use more than one of These. I needed 16 feet so I bought a 10 ft one( longest they had)and a 6.6 ft one. I didn't realize until after I put the 10 foot one down that the 6.6 ft one, which I ordered in the same color, was completely different from the 10 foot one. It looks pretty terrible on my floor. I tried to contact the seller, but there's no way to contact them. I was hoping they could help me figure it out , maybe send me a longer version if they have those , because I really like these transition strips.
