This solved a longstanding problem for me and it looks great! Color is a little off from what I was expecting, but it was so easy to cut and install, that I can live with the color. As you can see in the pic, it is transitioning laminate flooring to tile. Sticks to both perfectly! I've had it installed for a couple of months now and no issue whatsoever. This worked out so perfectly it's been up for I'm going to say since the time I bought it about a month now and I've had no issues it's soft it's nice on the feet so when I step on it it doesn't hurt and those metal plates that they put to separate the lift on the floor from one room to the other is horrible the screws or the nails don't stay down which is why I purchase this and it came out great it's stuck on it hasn't come off I haven't added any other type of product to keep it on the floor it's stayed perfectly even with the floor and tiles that were there all broken and old it's still stuck right to it perfectly and it was easy to cut and measure and get it nice.

Per some other reviews. First I reverse rolled it up for an hour or so, then I measured and cut it. Next I laid it in the doorway where it would be placed and left it there for over 24 hours. The I removed it and wiped the floor with ethyl alcohol as a cleaner. Finally I taped it down by pulling the adhesive covering off a little bit at a time as I worked to stick it on starting at one end and working my way to the other pulling each strip back a the roughly same length as I stuck it down. It doesn't especially look like wood but it did cover the gap sufficiently. Color is a fair match. Grain not so much. You can see the indentation where it is s depressed a little in the gap an also where it stuck slightly not as straight as I hoped ( I was concerned not to pull it off and do better since the adhesive is listed as "one time use." It appears quite well stuck to the flooring but I can't say how long that will last. I guess if it eventually comes up I would use some contruction adhesive to reglue it. But for now based on price and amount of effort to install it solves the problem adequately. Satisfied with purchase

Works great as a temporary fix! With a disabled family member staying with me, I wanted to make sure that they weren't at risk of tripping. They've been able to roll their walker over it with no issue. This stuff is much stickier than I expected and it is staying on the floor and carpet wonderfully. I had to pick it up and move it slightly and it still sticks just fine. It was also easy to cut down to the size needed for this doorway. Color isn't a perfect match but these floors need to be refinished anyways so it's not a huge eyesore. Overall, very happy with this purchase! Not sure how it will hold up over time as it's only been 2 weeks since installing but so far, so good.

This product was a gamechanger for us. For 5 years I have tried to figure out what to do in this spot. The traditional wooden threshold strips didn't work as there was too large of a height adjustment. This product is working great so far. It was easy to cut and install. It appears the adhesive is holding well to both the tile floor and the original wood floor. I ordered the deep dark brown with the 3/5" to 4/5" lip and it fit great. Very pleased with this product so far.

Seems ok enough. Put this in the doorway to the little room with my water heater and furnace in it. It's not quite tall enough to cover the actual gap of how tall the flooring is, but it's still the tallest one I found so far. Seems to do the job good enough although of some areas don't seem like they want to stick.

I bought this to cover a cracked floor tile where our hallway transitions into the garage, and it was exactly the solution I was looking for. It gives the transition a clean, finished look without having to deal with replacing the entire tile. Installation was straightforward. I wiped the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol first to make sure there was no grease or residue, then applied the strip. It's now been in place for about three months, including plenty of traffic through this area, and it still looks great. No lifting, shifting, or signs of the adhesive giving up. Bottom line: An easy and inexpensive way to fix an otherwise annoying flooring problem. It looks clean, has stayed firmly in place, and so far has held up exactly as I hoped.

Transition strip ordered replaced the old one at a large opening and was long enough to replace a door way transition worked out well a bit thinner than the old one but still looks nice and does the job
