Light was easy to assemble and worked perfectly. It's not terribly bright but we bought it to light up a dark corner of a bedroom and it does that very well. I haven't tried the remote, and probably never will since I control the lamp with Alexa, like many of the devices in our home. I did opt for a different bulb than the one supplied because the one that came with the lamp required an account to be set up with a manufacturer and a skill added to Alexa. I have some bluetooth bulbs on hand that just work with Alexa with no 3rd-party stuff. That's my only complaint, and it's very minor. ... show more

LOL at the headline.. but seriously, I love this lamp so much. It was so easy to put together and connect to my phone. The candle setting is so awesome and its so easy to adjust brightness and color. I received this lamp today and I love how it looks and love the design. I did give it five stars because of that. But I could give it three stars for connection I would. It took me an hour and 45 minutes to figure out how to connect this to my Alexa app. There are two different instructions on how to connect this with two different different apps. I finally figured out which app worked, and now the lamp is connected. I like this light so much that I am going to purchase another one for my living room. The instructions for Wi-Fi connection really need to be more clear. ... show more

Seems like an inexpensive lamp with a smart bulb. Big deal. However to have a smart bulb and a lamp with a shade isn’t bad. The smart app is annoying and doesn’t seem very effective. These reasonably priced lamps are way better than I expected. Works as advertised, IMO no need to download another app with all the associated risks; the remote does everything you could possibly need. To have a bajillion colors through the app just isn't necessary. We use at fairly low brightness levels for accent on each side of our big screen. They're attractive too, sort of gives a MCM vibe which we like. Highly recommend. The only thing I'm not sure of is how long the bulbs will last, and since they are specifically paired to the remote control that may be an issue in the future. ... show more

When I 1st paired the lamp to Alexa it was great, but the power went out and it will not repair or reset. Have done the reset ( off &on 4x) about 10 times. Need a video. Instructions not clear.
