The FLIR TG298 is the next generation of the FLIR TG297. The FLIR TG298 is an all-in-one, non-contact measurement and imaging tool with 60% faster boot-up time (~6 second), higher temperature ranges, that includes Super Resolution technology to enhance image quality. Through Super Resolution, the native resolution of 160 × 120 effectively upscales the image to 320 × 240, delivering greater detail and improved sharpness. Super Resolution ensures clearer thermal images for more precise diagnostics. This advanced imaging capability helps users quickly identify issues, improve decision-making, and conduct more reliable thermal inspections. Accurately measure temperatures up to 1080°C (1976°F) with a 30:1 spot size ratio and bullseye laser pointer. The TG298 is ideal for high-temperature industrial uses such as measuring the heat of glass furnaces, kilns, and forges as well as manufacturing applications, allowing you to accurately target potential faults, troubleshoot repairs, and monitor processes.
