I recently got the Flexzilla Garden Hose with SwivelGrip, and it's been a game-changer for my yard work. The 75-foot length is perfect for reaching every corner of my garden without feeling too bulky or hard to manage. I just opened the box for my new Fexzilla hose, hooked it up to the exterior spigot, hooked the other end to my rainbird oscillating sprinkler and turned on the water...............and the end where the oscillating sprinkler was came apart. The male end of the coupling that inserts into the hose was totally loose. I pushed it in with my hand and could pull it out without effort. There was a little metal cover that went around the hose, if this little metal cover was to secure the male end to the female part of the hose it did a shitty job. Went to the garage retrieved a hose clamp and put that on and then turn the hose back on. I'll be damn if the end that I screwed into the house faucet came apart. Same situation, the coupling that fits into the female part of the hose is too small and wouldn't hold. Retrieved another hose clamp and fixed. Went to Youtube and found where they sell a pro-end for my 5/8" hose, wtf. I paid good money for this hose and I have to buy two new ends just to make it work. The hose clamps that I put on to repair the hose, when you turn them you finger hit the clamp while turning and is in inconvenience. My opinion, this hose might be good and the quality of the ends are crap. I shouldn't have to buy new ends for a new hose, they should send me the ends for free since this product is not as good as advertised! . If I could give 1/4 of a star I would, your luck to even get one. ... show more

I live on a ranch and we are constantly going through hoses. During Christmas time my in-laws told me about this particular brand of hose and said I should try it. So I got on here and looked and was surprised to see that there were so many used units available at a little bit lesser of a price. So I purchased a couple of them and have been pleasantly surprised that they're holding up so well. I think part of the reason is because they are such a light bright color they aren't absorbing the Heat from the Sun like a black one would. They are also a little bit more of a rubbery consistency instead of such a hard shell. So they are very pliable which is nice because they don't hold the Kink and Mar the outside of the hose. So far they are super easy to unwind when you gone back and forth and have to turn them to get them straightened back out. They say that they're rated for drinking as well which is great because we use them to water the animals. Like I said I'm just thoroughly impressed with these and will continue to buy them until I find something better. ... show more

After my old 100' hose broke I started searching for a replacement. Being 100' long the weight and kink resistance were the most important features. I tried a 3/4" farm/contractor grade hose, but it was heavy and hard to manage when full of water, plus it frequently kink, usually near the spigot which required a long walk to unkink. Next I tried a lighter weight hose. It was easy to manage, but was a magnet for kinks. Then I tried a 100' Flexilla hose. It is easy to manage, light weight and is very kink resistant. I can't say it never kinks, but it is very rare when charged with water and easy to unkink. Usually a good pull will do it and no need to walk back to physically pull the kink out. The swivel handled works great. I liked the hose so much that I replaced my other hose with a 75' Flexilla and the old hose still had a few years of life left in it. ... show more
