I'm 72-years old and spend considerable time at my desk doing work and other things on my computer. It's important for me to have a desk chair that provides ergonomic support. Having used this chair for just a few days, my impression is that it fits the bill pretty well. I like the various adjustments for the arm rests, seat height, seat tilt and seat movement. The adjustable lumbar pillow is OK and provides some support for the lower back. If you need substantial lumbar support this chair may not be right for you. For me, it's good enough. A minor negative is that the seat height at it's lowest level is slightly high for me. I've remedied this with a foot rest so it's not a problem. In addition, the seat is little too firm for my liking so I added a cushion to soften it. As far as construction is concerned it's a solidly made chair for the moderately priced category. Assembly was easy though there was a part listed that was not in the box. That's just fine because it wasn't needed. The instructions were probably not completely updated for this version. Bottom line, with a few small adjustments, I'm comfortable in this chair and would buy it again. ... show more

I am a medical student and I spend a lot of time studying at my desk and I originally bought this chair 2 years ago because my prior one didn't have a reclining back. I have tried every position, every angle, every possible anatomic way to get comfortable in this chair and it doesn't work. I feel more comfortable in the mass produced plastic $40 chairs at the hospital cafeteria then I do in this. No matter what after 3 minutes of sitting in this chair my back feels like I've been bending over picking carrots all day. This is not worth the money and I regret buying this chair. It's probably too late to be refunded but I hope to god no one else buys this chair. Also this is the worst designed headrest I have ever seen. It forces you're head into flexion thereby eliminating any possbility of being comfortable unless fully reclined and even then it's annoying. It was easy to assemble (except the headrest, which required you to use an angled wrench that could only turn 1/8 of a rotation at a time - How did an engineer approve of this?) however that does not make up for the terrible design. Decent chair. The head rest is super uncomfortable and not very adjustable. The lumbar support is pretty much non existent. Not really a good chair for the price but in comparison to everything else out there I suppose it’s an okay deal.
