Find the drill spots on the ceiling, the distance between any two spots should be between 10-12 inches. 2. Fix the ceiling mounting brackets on the drilling spots with screws. All lockable ceiling mounting brackets must be facing the same direction 3. Straighten the curtain track ,you can wind the track up and tie it in reverse. (you need be cautious as to not reverse bend too much or it will crease). 4. Install rollers, hooks and end caps on the curtain track. (The track is i-shaped, with flat side up and curved side down. flat side used for mounting brackets and curved side used for rollers). 5. Clip the installed curtain track to the ceiling mounting brackets.

Our 5th wheel has a corner shower very common in travel trailers. It had a clear plastic surround that nothing good could be said about. We took it out and replaced it with a hospital style, overhead roller system. After years of fiddling, sometimes it would work for a few moths before something broke, tho it was more annoying than serious. My wife found this and ordered it. I finally decided to deal with taking the old one down and installed it. What a difference. The old one was sections of aluminum extrusion with a 'limited' attachment system. The tiny rollers tended to hang up on the sections. This one piece track, which is fairly stiff, is held tightly by the brackets screwed to the ceiling. I would suggest a pair of pliers to snap it in. The open curtain hooks tend to catch on each other and I just closed them up. Installation instructions? A wishful dream. Look at the pics in the description on ama for how it goes together, so simple I can do it. No junctions, the rollers run smoothly and easily. I would buy one again. ... show more

well, it's up on the ceiling. as many have said, hard to uncurl. i left it for a week, then still had to apply some bending force to straighten it out because of the inside metal strip. if you want a curved installation, this product is for you. next time i would probably go with something that is already straight & has a 90 degree connector. also no instructions, none, nada, zip - i did not use the included plastic wall fasteners, but used a more sturdy metal screw-in type. the rollers run smooth, put them on before you jam on the end caps. the end caps add a little bit to the overall length, so calc that if you are butting it up to a wall. if you have to cut the 'bar', it's easy to trim off the little burrs created by the saw or whatever you use to cut it. ... show more

Over all I like the product. I saw review of people claiming you couldn't use both screw on the bracket but I had no problem with that I was able to use both screws. I will say that dry wall support the screw came with is the low grade one that dont really give any support. I put a bracket every 12 inches to make sure it holds. The rail itself just pop into place. I try to make sure it was as straight as possible but it still was wonky. I set it up so it would cruve into a L shape. I need to block side and back of desk chair from the rest of room when doing video calls so people dont see. I will not trust this with heavy curtains and I believe that would be the case for any system like this not just this one. For heavy curtains I'll trust something like the ikea vidga system because I used those with heavy curtain. I got this for the price and vidga was out of stock. It's a little hard to cut but do able. I just had a switchblade and wire cutter also. Overall I am happy with it and would consider buying again if I needed to. ... show more

Easy to install and fast, you will just need a drill. Very smooth, no need to leave overnight with something on top to straighten it, just bend the opposite side

I purchased this curtain rod for the flexibility to curve around a storage shelf in my bedroom. It works well. I didn’t trim the extra off so the curtain can be snug on both ends (and I will take it with me when I move).
