I bought this $350 chair for $100 as part of an Amazon “Used - Like New” deal. I was skeptical since the message said the chair was new but the box was damaged, but, for $250 off the cost I could deal with a scratch or two. It arrived the very next day and true to the description it looked like both Cloud and Yuffie took several turns with it in the Whack a Box challenge. This thing was a mess. My skepticism on “Used - Like New” grew by leaps and bounds. My concern was misplaced though. The chair was in perfect condition. Every piece was pristine. The box and subsequent boxes inside were plenty squished but it was clear every piece was there and had never been take out of its original packaging. It took about an hour to assemble all by myself with the first 10 minutes stumping me on step 1 of the instructions, until I got smarter than a simple piece of plastic. Despite some of the other reviews comments on this chair I had no problems with any of the bolts. Everything fit together smoothly. Nothing feels loose or was hard to attach. When all was said and done it’s a beautiful chair. The seat will take a bit to break in and I doubt I’ll keep the lumbar pillow on for long (it’s a bit uncomfy), but the recline and footrest is awesome. I read in another review this chair did not have height control. This is wrong. It does and moves up/down several inches easily. I write reviews pretty rarely and I’m admittedly hard to impress, but this chair gets a 5/5 from me. ... show more

The directions that come with this chair are very light--they tell you exactly how to assemble it, but not entirely how to use it... Which is why it took me two months to realize you can set its recline to ANY ANGLE! I just found it today, as a matter of fact. At first, it looked it was two reclining options--straight up or completely lying down. Then I accidentally flipped the recline handle too early, and suddenly I was at a 30-degree recline. Color me surprised! Then I experimented and discovered that I can stop the recline at any angle! I was fairly happy with the chair before that. Now? I don't know what everyone else's problem is, but it seems fine to me. You're not going to do much better for the price point. The chair was pretty easy to put together, you just follow the instructions...I think the padding seems comfy and the chair is fairly adjustable. I got the X40 model. super easy to put together the footrest was already attached so that helped alot. The leather feels like my leather seats in my car so super comfy and sporty feeling the massage pillow is a nice touch tho it's more of a giant vibrator for your back. only down side which isnt that big is theres no extra parts so if you lose one your screwed literally lol. so overall chair takes 10-15 minutes for solo assembly, its sturdy and comfy. ... show more

Hands down best chair out there. I love the foot rest, massaging feature, how far it leans back and how much padding/cushion it offers. I actually use it as my office chair and wish I would have bought it sooner. It was also delivered extremely fast. I highly recommend getting one!!
