The chair I got was coffee colored, really more of a beige or taupe, and did not have arms which I would have removed anyway if it had. The aging office chair this replaced had a wider seat and a tension adjustable tilt. This chair does not tilt, which is O.K. since it also doesn't creak and moan because of that. I was pleased to see that the height was exactly the same as the old chair. I am quite pleased with the value of this chair, I should point out that I don't spend all day on it, only a few hours at a time. Great chair for the price! I assembled it easily, all by myself, in less than 20 minutes without any trouble (two allen wrenches are included, no additional tools required). It glides smoothly across my ceramic tiles. It's comfortable and cute. I can use it by my makeup vanity or in front of my computer. I got the bright apple green for a pop of color and I'm very happy with purchase! Best of all, it arrived in two days! I ordered it on a Wednesday and it was at my house by Friday! Excellent!! UPDATE: Bought another chair! My first chair (purchased in Nov 2014) is still in great condition. Holds up well and everyone enjoys sitting in it because it's so comfortable. Got tired of moving my first chair from room to room so I got another one. Matching color, now I have a set! Again, assembly was very easy. I needed a chair to sit on for hours a day as I am a medical transcriptionist and am at the computer all day. It fits me great. I am a small person and finding a chair that is not too large is really hard. I needed a chair with no arms-I have cubital tunnel syndrome bilaterally so not good to rest elbows on armrests and I without them I am able to get the chair up to the desk with no issue. The color is really a happy color and it was so easy to put together, just a few minutes, really. If you are a larger person this chair may not be the best bet but for a smaller person-I'm 5'2" and just over 100 pounds-this fits just great. I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more

It is of good quality, reasonably priced, and I really liked the polished chrome finish on the legs! Everything else at local retailers are the boring black matte. I put this chair together in about 20 minutes -- without the arms. I finished putting it together and was confused because I could've sworn that it came with arms. Also, there were holes on the seat for arms. Oh well, I thought. The following day I got around to opening packages that have been piling up, and I found the arms in a separate box. Once it was fully assembled and I once again was feeling confident in my memory (I KNEW there were arms!), I gave the chair a whirl. For the price it's okay. Not the most comfortable and I kind of feel like I'm being tipped forward. As I write this I've been sitting in it for about an hour and my butt is definitely going numb. I'm starting grad school in like a week and wanted something affordable but comfortable. This checked the first box, but I don't find it very comfortable. If I had to do it again I'd probably spend another $20 and get something a little nicer.
