This chair was super easy to put together. I’ll put it together just by myself took probably 15 minutes. It’s very sturdy. The height is perfect. Has a lot of cushion. Super comfortable where I don’t even need a lumber pillow to support my back anymore and it looks beautiful in my office.

This chairs feels just average. Everything from the assembly to the finished product has a so-so vibe, not really executive, faux or not. I feel as if the details are missed on this item. For example, adhesive markings were on one of the chair arms. Sure, they likely could be easily removed, but why should I have to do so with an "executive" product at this price point. Not that this is a bad product, it just doesn't exude excellence. Also, during the assembly process be sure to pay special attention to the orientation of the arms. They fit either way, and as such I put them on backwards. I only realized it after looking at the product photos just prior to writing a review. Prior to this, assembly was quite simple and straightforward, taking only 15 minutes. However, having to break down the chair partway, reorient the arms, and reassemble, complicated matters and dragged out an otherwise simple process. So double check this prior to moving on. Overall this is a good chair, especially if you like the style. However, I feel there are better alternatives at this price and this item somewhat falls short of the expectations set forth by the marketing photos and product description. ... show more

I am in love with the look of this chair. I got the black leather with gold arms and the esthetic is so classic and elegant. I didn’t know what a waterfall edge was, but now I get it and it’s perfect. The front edge of the chair slants slightly so your legs don’t fall asleep, definitely a must for sitting at my desk all day. I feel like they thought of every little detail with this chair. The height adjustment range is just right for my needs, and the swivel is seamless. This took about a minute and a half to put together and came easily packaged in a compact box. The media could not be loaded. Nice chair. Modern look. It is comfortable to sit on. The assembly is relatively simple and easy as long as you pay attention. I did not and I had to unscrew and attach correctly. I like the all black color very much. This chair rolls, and it lifts and lowers.

I've been working full time at home for decades, and I learned early on to invest in a top-quality office chair. Inexpensive office chairs usually are uncomfortable (at least when you spend 8 hours a day in them), and as much as I like my chiropractor I don't want to personally put his kids through college. Not to mention that the parts fall off. On some occasions I've had otherwise-appreciated office chairs fail on maintenance grounds, such as screws that get loose and cannot be tightened again. Don't scrimp on this purchase! Over the years we have spent a lot on good chairs, often more than a thousand dollars, because they last. My current chair -- which I think was $1400 -- is at least five years old, and it hasn't needed more maintenance than a minor nut-tightening. However, I needed a "visitor chair" for my office, for when my husband wants to skooch up to look at my screen with me. So when Amazon Vine offered me this one, I cheerfully said Yes. It's an excellent fit for my "extra chair" needs, but I'm not certain it's the best choice for your 8-hour day. Let's start with the positives. This doesn't look or feel like a cheap chair. It assembles quickly and easily -- at least if you have a second person to hold a doohickey while you screw the parts together. The construction is sturdy, and I don't get the impression that it'll come apart soon. The faux leather doesn't look or feel fake, but then again I haven't had an opportunity to sit in it on a hot, sweaty day. You can decide for yourself from the photo if the chair is attractive. I think it's perfectly fine, and it'd fit in any office with a mid-century modern theme; mine's more arts-and-crafts with lots of wood and leather, so it's adequate. For my purposes it's nice-enough looking, and honestly it's going to end up with a laptop bag and a quilt dumped on it most of the time, so I'm not interested in appearances. But you don't care what an office chair looks like, only how comfortable it is. Certainly, this one is wide enough that you won't feel squished. I spend a lot of time in my chair with my legs crossed, and it's fine for that too. It swivels, and the rollers are good; that's important to me. On the other hand, I don't think it'd be awesome for an entire day sitting in the chair. It doesn't have quite enough back support for that. I'm also not in love with the metal arms. Their sharp-ish corners are just begging to get caught on a sweater or on flowy long sleeves. I'm certain that, eventually, a too-quick movement will cause one of the arms to whack me in the funny bone. Overall? It's a solid _good_. I don't think that this chair is wonderful, though. If it cost $50 less I might call it, "a good value for the money" but somehow I expect a little more at this price point. I'll let you measure my description against your budget, though. Hopefully I've given you enough information to decide if it is what you are looking for. ... show more
