  • Super easy to assemble and sturdy
Color: Grey Style: Backless Shower Chair
I bought this for my mother in-law, who was coming in to town for 10 days. I wanted to buy something that was inexpensive, because she is only at our house a few times a year, but sturdy, because if it breaks that could be catastrophic for her. What led me to this one was: Price - Great price in comparison to most seats that look the exact same. Color - We chose the grey color to fit with the decor of our bathroom. I honestly didn't want the white or light blue as they remind me of hospital colors. I have a total phobia of hospitals, and really didn't want that seat to add to it. Assembly - I love the fact that this is no tool assembly. It is literally 5 screws, the seat and two sets of legs. A couple of recommendations on assembly... Two people helps for the first part of the assembly. One person can hold the legs in place while you put in the first screw in the center. You can probably do it with one person, but I thought it helped. The legs and the seat have a small 1 and 2 on them. Make sure to align the 1 on legs with the one on the seat and the same with the 2. Make sure the legs with the rounded back in the middle is on the bottom next to the seat. The legs with the flat back in the middle should go on top. Don't tighten the screws until you have all five in place. This will help you line up the holes easier. Adjustable Legs - Another great feature is the adjustable legs. They can raise up about another foot. To raise the legs it is similar to raising the legs on an ez up tent. You push in the button and raise it up. I think you can increase the height about 12" or so. It was easy for me to adjust but it may be a little difficult for an elderly person. Sturdy I really wanted to make sure this thing would hold up well as it is very light. I personally plopped pretty hard onto the seat to see if it would bend and nothing happened. No-slip - The suction cup feet on this seat are big. When I tested in the shower they stayed in place pretty good. Random - There is a rounded slot on either side of the seat. This appears to be either a holder for a shower wand or a cane. Honestly, I have no idea. Pros Color Price Ridiculously easy to assemble Adjustable legs Sturdy No-slip feet Cons Buttons that may be difficult to adjust for an elderly person ... show more

  • Useful, Attractive, Sturdy, Good Quality, Great Price!!!
Color: Teal Style: Backless Shower Chair
Very happy with my purchase! I really wanted to find something comfy, sturdy to sit on while shaving my legs & this works perfectly. While I was assembling it, I was worried it wouldn't fit in my bathtub, as its a very standard size small tub & it fits sitting sideways or long ways. I can sit anywhere on this stool & it doesn't pop a wheelie if all your weight is on one side. The feet are thick rubber & nice & large, won't slide around. Very strong, large plastic seat, with a place on each end to hang shower wand. Its got drain holes so your not sitting in a cold puddle of collected water. The dark teal color is very pretty. Highly Recommend this Shower Stool!!! Great price too! ... show more

  • Would buy again
Color: Navy Style: Shower Chair with Arms
The media could not be loaded. Can’t beat the price and the quality for this. Easy to put together in under three minutes. Girlfriend had back surgery and needed something to help her in the shower. Fits perfectly in our tub. Highly recommend.

  • round bath stool is better size for my shower
Color: White Style: Shower Stool
Photo compares the new round white bath stool with my larger shower chair with a back. I was fine using the chair after foot surgery, but after 7 weeks I wanted something easier to get around in the shower. The stool provides enough stability while continuing my recovery, but is small enough to maneuver around the shower now that I'm able to stand a bit. Very satisfied, and will likely leave it in the shower for safety after complete healing. ... show more

  • Much easier to get in and out of the shower!
Color: Grey Style: Shower Transfer Bench
I'm disabled and had been using a shower chair, but it was hard for me to get in and out of the shower. An occupational therapist watched me transfer and said it was dangerous. He recommended a shower bench. I chose this one primarily based on the size and price. Others had legs that splayed out, and I didn't have room for that, and the shower is small so I needed one that wasn't very large. The therapist put it together for me with just the tools included; however, upon his recommendation, I had the maintenance man tighten the screws to ensure it was plenty stable. Even though I am large and the bench is small, it still works well and is very sturdy. It's much easier to get in and out now. Based on reviews I read, I was concerned that there would be a problem with water on the floor. However, a nice thick absorbent bath mat on the floor and a small mat covering the part that extends outside the shower to keep water from draining out the holes work great. Both mats get slightly damp but I just spread the one I use on the bench over the bench to dry, and the other one dries quickly on the floor. I'm much more eager to take a bath now--I used to dread showering because I felt insecure getting in and out. ... show more

  • Nice, but not for me.
Color: Navy Style: Backless Shower Chair
There's just not enough "seat" here for me to feel totally comfortable. My right leg is amputated just above the knee, so I only have one foot on the floor when I'm in the shower. I can easily imagine myself slipping a little or losing my balance and falling off this. (my butt's not that big - I'm 5 ft 10", 140 pounds) That said, if traditional shower chairs are overkill for you - if you're not wheelchair bound, you just prefer to sit down while showering - this might be a great option for you. It's lightweight, it feels sturdy, it assembles easily, it has a wide range of heights and adjusting the legs is easy - I'm keeping mine for travel and just to have a spare. ... show more

  • I would buy it again
Color: Grey Style: Shower Transfer Bench
Product appears durable. Package was missing two screws. Contacted seller They are shipping the two screws. Worked well for my tub that has minimal available space. Included all tools required for assembly but having a 10 mm wrench and regular Phillips screwdriver for assembly will make assembly much faster. They did include a wrench and Phillips, but having better tools will make assembly easier. Assembly is straight forward, takes about 30 minutes to assemble.. i docked one star on assembly due to missing bolts. I would make the same choice again , i understand missing parts sometimes happens. Bench seems durable, in spite of its light weight. Seat sections have drain holes for water. ... show more
