Ordered this for a spring bear hunt. Never hunted out of it. One guy was in thee to set up and another went up to unhook to move it. We were getting ready for the archery elk season here in Utah. Went to pull it up as per the instructions and it bent at the critical elbow on the platform. Luckily no one was in a tree maneuvering when it folded up. I emailed Customer Service from Muddy and no response. They have said nothing and done nothing. Seems now like a faulty set up with no support bracing between ladder and platform base to keep it from folding like that. ... show more

The stand is build well but the instructions could use some work. I had no extra parts and if u drop a small nut in the woods your screwed, we had to repeat a couple steps because the instruction need more detail. Be prepared to spend about 3-4 hrs assembling

The stand is relatively comfortable to sit in, and the ability to flip up the seat is a nice feature. Assembly could be problematic for someone who doesn't have some experience putting stands together. Some of the parts do not fit well, and took some finessing. All in all, seems like it will be a decent stand, with the exception of the shooting rail. I can't imagine what they were thinking when the designed the shooting rail. It's very, very poorly designed. For that reason I absolutely would not buy another one. This stand could've been top notch if the shooting rail was better. The shooting rail really makes the whole thing a disappointment. ... show more
