I bought this furniture set in 2014, seven years ago, and the three pieces served me well for six years. In the course of year 7, the coating (the "softleather" covering) has started to come off and the springs on the couch are out of place. This is with what I would rate as light to moderate use. I also marked the set down because the screws that came with the set for attaching the legs were too small, maybe #6, possibly #8. I used #10 screws, which held up well. I also needed to add a leg in the middle of the couch because the frame needed the extra support. The couch is exactly what I wanted and what I was hoping for. There is minor assembly required which includes installing each of the four legs. The legs are fastened into place using screws which come included. The screws are drilled into pre-drilled holes in the base of the wooden framing of the couch. However, for one of the legs, the wooden frame was slightly rotted and the pre-drilled hole did not hold the screws. The leg was not secure and the structure of the entire piece of furniture was unstable due to the poor quality of the wood. I needed to use my own longer screws to drill deeper in to the furniture's frame and secure the leg. It works fine. It was a simple fix but still not ideal. 3 stars. ... show more

This couch was perfect for the small space I had to place one! Easy to assemble the legs (use an electric screwdriver to place the screws for ease). The seat is firm, but that's my preference. I was leery about ordering something so important online and not having the chance to test it out, but I was truly pleasantly surprised! It took a week and a half to get here, but it arrived on the date as promised, very well packaged, and no damage. I'm very pleased with this product!! ... show more

This couch is nice overall. I wanted a smaller/short piece for the formal living area and this fits perfect. I was a little surprised exactly how short the back height is but that's my own fault for not paying closer attention to the product dimensions. I am giving this only four stars due to the fact that one of the four legs were damaged or defective. It's as if when built someone put screws in the wrong place and broke them off inside the leg. I will contact the manufacturer for replacement as the whole unit is wobbly due to this. ... show more

The price was more than reasonable. The couch looks good, well made, simple style will go with anything. I bought it for our living room which is seldom used. Not great on comfort, stiff seating, hope is softens up with use. Placed throw pillows and throw cover across one end to make it more inviting. Yes I would recommend it for anyone wanting a leather couch for a great price, as long as you are not looking for a couch you sink into. Very pretty couch--great for an office waiting room (which is what I bought it for). However, the screws to fasten the legs do not go in well at all. I actually broke the metal nubs off the end of my Philip's head trying to get the screws in, and most only went about 1/2 way. For assembly, plan on using a drill to drill new holes in the bottom to put the legs on. ... show more

    • I thought it was a sofa, it's not. It is an upholstered bench for a waiting area.

I've had it for a year and a half and it is still in perfect shape, no flaws in the leather. I love this couch, but keep in mind it is a reception area couch and small compared to most living room couches-only a small person can lay down comfortably on it.
