I got the 2 bookcase model with ladder for my wife and it is amazingly sturdy. Very well squared at the corners. I had to clamp the two together to install the bolts as it was just me holding them but overall very good quality. Note - These come already built and in a very heavy box.

We purchased this for our library at home. It come fully assembled. Once we got it inside safely (it is very heavy) it was easy to unbox and set up. It is a beautiful addition to our home.

It's impressive looking furniture but I can't help wonder how much of the price is the furniture and how much of the price is the shipping and packaging. I ordered a desk, a filing cabinet and the bookshelves from Martin. Be prepared to unpack and make trips to the recycling center.

I just have to say when it says arrives fully assembled it does not mean white glove delivery. They are fully assembled in boxes. The delivery driver would not put the boxes in my house. He insisted on putting them in my garage. I live alone. I could have unboxed them myself and put them in place If they could have brought them in my front door. But I had to unbox them in the garage and find help to move them in my house. Other than this, the shelves themselves are exactly what I had in mind and very sturdy. I have not done so yet, but they definitely will need to be mounted to the wall. ... show more
