Hi, I am here to review this chair. I bought it during COVID-19 because I need to work from home now. I am unbiased, no-one has paid me to do this, and I consider myself a generally reasonable human being. This chair cost me roughly $135. It's a chair. I am very happy with it. Putting it together was about as easy as putting together a chair could be, it took me about 15-20 minutes. The instructions consist of 6 steps, read all of them before starting because that's always how you should read instructions (life advice, you're welcome) After constructing this chair, I sat in it, as I planned from the beginning. It feels like a very functional chair. I like that you can lean with it, and rock with it. You can adjust height. I specifically wanted something with arms that folded up, this one has arms that do that. If you are super boujee and the type who requires some ridiculous material and comfort padding, don't buy this, but also nothing will make you happy so maybe you should buy it and just be unhappy. If you're normal and you want a quality computer chair with adequate levels of comfort, folding arms, adjustable height and rocking abilities plus good lumbar support (hopefully most people) buy this chair. It's great. Seriously. I see people nitpicking. This is a $130 computer chair. The material is fine. The comfort does the job. I am beyond happy with this chair and would absolutely recommend it to someone who wants an affordable and functional computer/office chair. If you're a picky scrooge nothing, in all reality, will make you happy - so good luck. I love this chair. Checks all of my boxes. Cheers! PS: Check the date of my review, if I never come back and re-review, its because this chair continued to be a chair and I maintained a high level of happiness with its functionality. Your browser does not support HTML5 video. *Update number 2* @@Sprayed half a can of WD-40 in the gasket 2-3 months ago. That seems to have fixed the creeks.... Needed a new chair to WFH through the COVID-19 pandemic. @@If I move anywhere from a fraction of an inch to a full motion turn, you (and everyone in your video conference) will never "HEAR" the end of it.     • FAX the 90s for repair claims - mine dumped me on the floor.

After a year of use, the back broke off on this. The threaded inserts pulled right out of the seat. I found this out while I was on the phone typing and it finally let go and dumped me over backwards onto the floor. After my trip to the bathroom to clean up the blood, I looked for warranty claim information. Apparently everything has to be done over FAX. I don't live in the 90s, so I don't have a fax machine. I suffer from pelvic pain due to ligament tears and other issues. Sitting is a painful activity for me for the most part, but standing is also painful. In short, I spend most of my days in discomfort. This chair has been a real boon to me. The time I spend sitting in it is really the only time I am comfortable most days. The back of the chair provides sturdy support. The seat has just enough give to be comfortable without flattening over time (a real problem with plush seats). The swivel is easy and smooth. The arms are comfortable too. It is easy not to realize that a chair is not ergonomic when you are able-bodied and everything is working well. When you are in pain, however, that is when you feel every single design flaw. So, when I tell you that this is truly an ergonomic chair, you can believe that. I am deducting one star because the height of the arms is not adjustable and the arms are placed at a level that bumps into most desks. So, I have to lift the arms up entirely in order to be able to use my desk. Apart from this small issue, the chair is great. ... show more

I live in Texas where even the AC runs a long time to beat the summer heat. I opted for a mesh back chair so I could have better airflow behind my back when I turn on the fan. My leather chair used to make my back all sweaty, so this chair is very breathable. Setup was simple for me, took me 20 minutes from start to finish. I ordered the leather bottom and it's faux leather, but it's very comfortable. The mesh back seems durable and will last a while. The arm rests can swing up and out of the way if you so desire. The curved mesh back also makes me sit up straight. It supports my lower back and lumber; therefore, forcing me to practice good posture.     • Broke after 4 months.

Poor, cheap build quality. I'm a 200 lb guy and I sat in this chair for a couple hours each day for 3-4 months until it broke. The plate that connects the seat to the hydraulic has cracked all the way around. Before it broke, about 2 months into use the chair developed a lot of side to side tilt. It felt as if something were bending and sure enough it was the bottom plate creasing. A good office chair should put up with at least a few years of daily use. Not a couple months of evening gaming. Very cheaply made chair. Even the base is composed of plastic. You can bend the arm rests back and forth with ease. I used it for a week and the seat cushion was almost flat and the mesh on the back of the chair started tearing. I weight about 190 lbs and I feel like I am in danger while sitting in this chair.
